The Fabulous Forest Glen Bakery

The jam donut is superb. The best on the Sunshine Coast. I know because I've eaten them all. The staff and coffee were good too.

I ordered a chunky steak pie, I was disappointed to find that 1/2 of the pie was a gelatinous, gluggy and sticky mass. The rest was the chunky steak. If it had been a gravy, it works have been nice.

Sausage roll is inedible mush!!!! Coffee is bitter, nothing fabulous here!!!!! Very disappointed. Sorry but disgusting food.

Upon first glance of the display cabinets, we knew we were at a good bakery. We ordered a curry steak pie, a plain pie, a sausage roll, a jam & cream donut & a custard filled donut. The curry pie was nice but had too much chilli in it. The plain pie was delicious. The sausage roll was huge & had a nice flavour but just like the other reviews here, it is mush & was not finished. Both donuts were perfection. That is exactly how donuts should be made!! We were also very happy with the pricing & we will be back!

Loved their pumpkin scone and Thai veggie pie! Will definitely go back and try others.

They have a good range of cakes and slices but service yesterday was very disappointing. They were open with the sign out on the footpath when we arrived but we had to drive further to get a park and then I had to walk back. The woman collecting the sign out on the footpath then closed the door in my face when I asked if they were closing. We weren't after a sit down meal so it would not have taken her much to serve me. At least I know there is an alternative with much friendlier staff so although it's a bit further to travel when doing our regular fortnightly trips from Gympie to Brisbane I'll go for the friendly service and get afternoon tea at Buderim in future if travelling at that time of the day.

Overall good experience. Sweet pastry was good, I'm just not a fan of their plain pie. The crust was great, firm and held its shape with out needing a dish, but gravy on the inside was not to my liking. Probably great for everyone else, just not my taste.
