I really enjoyed my dining experience here. Had a promo $55 pp for lunch standard buffet. A good selection of meats cuts but its the sides that were delicious. Had 60 mins to order and sometimes its a hit and miss with the delivery times of the sides, some salads took 30 mins to arrive and the takoyaki wasn't hot are some examples. Otherwise, great ambience and good service. Recommend!

Came for the $55 'wagyu' buffet. A scaled down version of their swanky North Sydney establishment but still has a great decor. Service was quite good and no complaints with the equipment except that mesh changes are $2.On to the most important part. The selection of meats were pretty slim. The best cut was the beef rib which was not particularly well marbled. The remaining beef cuts were not even as tender which was disappointing.Honestly the a la carte small dishes and sushi were quite good but certainly not what I am coming to a wagyu buffet for. Similarly the desserts were pretty good. Obviously a marketing tactic, but I expected better beef from Rengaya

I’ve been coming to Rengaya since they opened and their meat quality and service has definitely decreased. For $95 per person, better quality wagyu or better cuts of meat is the bare minimum. Some of the sashimi tasted frozen and the fried food was cold. It was still a good meal however overpriced.

My go-to Yakiniku restaurant in Sydney. I have been there a couple of times. It was $55 for all-you-can-eat for weekend lunch in April. Plenty of meat and some side dishes, also includes some sushi but limited. Free rice refill. Drinks are not included, but you can order extra. I'm glad the recent visit there were full of customers, however to be honest I really liked the lunch set that they had previously for something like $40(don't remember exactly). I felt like the quality of the meat was much better then. However for $55 it was a really good value. I guess one day I will have to try premium! Lots of seats and good customer service.

Went here for the Wagyu BBQ Buffet. After years, this place is still NOT one of the best place for BBQ in Sydney. BUT THE BEST!The meat melts in your mouth, the affordable price that caters for everyone to taste luxury, it doesn't get any better and the best compliment from me is that there is nothing to improve..

One of the best all you can eat bbq restaurants in the inner West. Amazing beef and sashimi. The wagyu skirt and the cubes were juicy and tastes great. The karaage chicken was awesome so was the seafood. Not for getting the great table service. Highly recommend if you feel like some wagyu beef.

$55 for the standard buffet BBQ is a good price although the selection is quite limited. Friendly service and clean environment. Ordering on the iPad is easy to use.

My favourite restaurant in Sydney! — Incredible Wyagu for all you can eat Japanese food! Momo is so courteous and helpful to deal with any bookings. We have booked our boxing team anniversary celebrations for 2 years now with over 20 people at Rengaya because it's got all the variety we need, Halal meat for our Muslim students and overall an incredible dinner experience leaving everyone better than satisfied!

Such a nice place! We had a group of 6 and they seated us in the private room it felt like Japan. The sushi and meat is very fresh. They could do more options for dessert as they only had limited variety.
