A scenic spot with a nice, short jetty. Can be quite busy at times, which makes fishing a bit of a challenge because there aren't that many spots on the jetty that produce well.

StOp! polluting this pier with fishing lines/weights/rubbish/lures if you wanna see seahorses, starfish, crabs and more fish! This place is so beautiful but when you first look I won’t lie, you’re more likely to see rubbish/fishing line and lures than u are a crab or seahorse! We can do better!!!

Great views. There is a small restaurant nearby which had snacks, fish and chips, etc. the jetty is also close to “Red Bluff lookout” with many car parking slots. Please check if parking ticket is needed as per your time of entry. I saw some parking inspectors checking all cars for valid parking ticket on a Saturday evening. Hope this helps, thanks.

Amazing place to watch the sunset if you are in the area, the unfortunate thing is that it's paid parking (although I seen a lot of people just sitting in the car enjoying the sunset but I don't think $6-8 per hour is wort the car park).Usually there's no one there to fine you but if you want free parking park across the road in the side streets and walk the extra 2-3 minutes

Great spot for watching the sunset, walking, playing on the beach, boating and there’s a cafe where you can get something to eat.As a snorkeling spot, I was disappointed. It has a reputation as a good spot to see seahorses under the pier BUT it’s right next to a boat ramp and it’s a popular fishing spot. During my snorkel, there were boats and jet skis coming in and out of the area and it just didn’t feel safe. My sister got tangled in some discarded fishing wire under the pier and there was a lot of it, very dangerous for sealift and swimmers. Take a dive knife and dive flag and be very aware of your surroundings. There’s some sea life around the rocky corner where it’s quieter and less boat activity, see pic.Parking is very limited in summer.

Nice view of the ocean. Lots of information about the history of the place, as well as the wreck just off-shore.
