I didn't go indoors because I had my dog with me. Lots of lovely outdoor areas available - some undercover and some not - where dogs are welcome. There are hitches for the dogs and water bowls available. Also a wonderful space for children: maybe the best children's playground I've seen at a pub. There is also an outdoor chess game. The food was absolutely delicious but was more than we usually spend. We thought it was worth it. Heaps of good parking. Also there is an accessible entrance from the car park but if you are not already aware of it, you may need to ring before arrival to be clear how to access it. The staff were lovely and their service was great. Definitely recommended.

Warm and inviting venue, ample indoor and outdoor seating all with open fire and localised heating options. Modern Australian menu, steaks cooked perfectly. Beer and wine list decent but not ‘pub’ cheap. Kids playground and oversized chess set to keep the kids busy

We went to a Family Réunion here and were given The Marquee which is located outside behind the bistro. A perfect space for 30 odd adults and children and undercover too! My family ordered the kids chicken tenders and chips which is a good size for small children, the cauliflower and sweet potato salad which was very tasty, as well as a pizza and a steak which were both cooked to perfection. The Grounds are so lovely. There is an enclosed kids play area as well as a giant chess board. Plenty of parking too! The sticky date pudding was amazing!!

Unfortunately had a terrible experience here where my table of 10 we were churned and burned by this business. The way they give you a set time to come in sit down shut up order eat and get the hell out is just ridicules, allows no time for a relaxed experience with your friends or family.I get they do explain it to you when you book but being reminded three times during our “set time to scoff down our food” was just terrible service.My idea of meeting with friends and family is to come relax and enjoy the atmosphere and food with my loved ones.You will definitely not get this experience here so I would be choosing somewhere who actually cares about you having a good time more than turning tables over so quickly.It’s counter productive for the business as the average spend per table would be less as you have no time to do more courses or have more drinks or coffees etc.Change this policy as at least for groups as it’s pathetic.

A fab location for a family long lunch. Plus the best part it doggy friendly too. We had a delicious meal and the service of food was quick and the location so charming. Even on the rainy day we went it was great to be undercover on the balcony with the heater on. Would 100% go back.

What a fantastic place, I have driven past a thousand times, but have never stopped. Thursday October 22, I had the good fortune to have been invited to lunch. Our group sat in one of the bars with a beautiful fire place going, a wonderful atmosphere in which to wait for the remainder of our party. It was a busy lunch time, but the friendly, smiling, nothing's too much trouble wait staff were a delight. The food is outstanding, the steaks were mouth watering, the pie melted in your mouth and the fish cooked to perfection. All dishes were delivered to the table in a timely manner. Next time we visit, we will try the pizzas and sit in the outdoor seating area in the warmer months. A great place to stop, eat, drink and you can spend the night with affordable accommodation. Great work guys.

Fantastic modern pub, superb food, great meals and cosy eating areas. Beef cheek pot pie was superb.
