Asquith Club

Food was pretty good on each visit, but lately the salads they serve with the meals is basically a bit of greenery and if you are lucky, a 5mm section of tomato may be included. Not good enough in my books for it be called a salad. If your short of tomatoes there is a Coles down the road at a reasonable price.

Foods good club food although they charge an extra $1 for any meal payment under $20 made with eftpos (in my instance without any notification). That's just straight out gouging - not good.

We ordered a whole family meal, but they forgot to make half of it because a guy needed a break outside, got the food in the end but dodgy experience :/

Not a great experience unfortunately. We ordered a steak medium rare & it was very well done. The staff were accommodating & gave us a credit for a free meal next time, we weren’t really keen to come back, but thought we’d give it another chance. Next time round we ordered the schnitzel & burgers. The chicken schnitzel was so oily, & you could see that the oil was old, as it had a burnt flavour & was inedible. The buttermilk chicken burger was so dry, not moist at all unfortunately & the cheese burger was cold. It must of been sitting there for a while, whilst the other meals were being prepared.Sorry, we definitely won’t be back. Although the staff are friendly, the food is not good & service is slow. Shame because the food was great before.

Quiet little club. Plenty of friendly people there and great service. The bowls games were great fun with some master tuition given by the locals. Place this on your to do list

So after complaining about the rib eye on the new menu, instead of fixing it as I suggested they took it off the menu altogether. This catering company running this restaurant are in shambles and are ill equipped to run a restaurant. On top of all this whilst I write this I a trying to kill a coachroach crawing on my table whilst I wait for an overpriced 250g rump steak upgraded to surf & turf. Does that mean 2 prawns?Maybe I will receive burnt garlic bread again twice.GET RID OF THEM!

Great club. Nice decor. The new operators of 'The Lodge' bistro have great food and a surprising range within the menu. Fabulous weekly members deals for every night of the week.

The Lodge Kitchen & Bistro is consistently good. Much better than other club/pub offerings in the area, interesting variety and great specials. Topped off with genuinely friendly service - so glad to finally have good food at a club in the Hornsby area!

Great food, great service & great entertainment. Definitely going to be back.
