Currumbin Sands Holiday Apartments

Great place to stay, friendly staff, booked 6-bed apartment top floor overlooking park and beach, fantastic location and would recommend. Pools and gardens really nice. However a few maintenance issues need to be rectified in apartment 72. Not cleaned adequately - windows dirty, crumbs all over the rug and someone's footwear left under coffee table. Aircon not working and single beds way too small for the adults in our party (ideal for children 2-10 yrs). Understand the apartments are privately owned, so get your act together owners as $300 per night calls for squeaky clean rooms and comfortable beds please.

Great access to the beach and two nice sized pole make this placeIt's ok, nice sized apartments, can hear a lot of outside noise is my only issue. Well appointed kitchen, only stair access to rooms so pack light.It was nice having a washing machine in the room as well.

Dated with ok rooms. There was significant road noise despite the double glassing. Staff are friendly but don’t expect any out of the ordinary assistance. The whole place is a rule fest and you’d be forgiven for thinking that the setup prioritizes ease of operation over guest experience. The location is great with easy access to the bus routes and near the beach. The complex grounds are very attractive and well maintained. Choosing Currumbin Sands is not a disaster but I would recommend you look for other options. Also it fails the reasonably tall man shower test, although only just.

Great place to stay.Reasonably priced, helpful friendly staff, nice self-contained apartment. Good pool, easy access to the cove, beach or highway for somewhere further afield.Rooms are a little dated and could do with a little TLC (please vacuum the static air vents!) but that didn't really affect our experience.

Pools are fantastic - two cold, one heated, and two spas. The room had a view of the ocean and direct access to the pool, beach, and BBQ. Rooms could do with a refresh, little things like warmer light globes, some repainting of walls, etc. Comfortable and plenty of space though, with very easy parking underneath. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the position next to the beach and estuary is perfect. Plenty of food options around as well.

Stayed late September 2019. Loved the apartment, right next to one of the pools. Had everything we needed, clean, airy and nice decor. Amazing location near beach, estuary, playground, cafe, markets we could walk everywhere. We had a baby and a 5 year old and travelling from NZ it was the perfect family holiday. Also loved how the pools are heated. Already planning a trip back :)

Spacious apartment and close to amenities including beach, park and cafe. Not impressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of apartment. Ensuite shower and washing machine are full of mould. Fly screen in main bedroom is ripped. Tiny roaches in both bathrooms. Unfortunately despite location, won’t be re-booking.

Stayed here in Jan 2023, with a large group (8 adults 5 kids), The 2 apartments were spacious with generous lounge areas - great for big family dinners/catchups. The property is only 150m from the oceanfront - no road crossings and the playground/park and calm water swimming is not far either great for the little kids.I also left some headphones at the accomodation which the management kindly located and posted them back to me - great customer service. Would highly recommend here for a summer holiday.

We booked a beach front apartment through Agoda however when we got there it was ocean view and we could only see part of the ocean from a distance although it was only a short walk from the beach so that was okay the staff were pleasant and helpful, the real problem was the apartment itself, the phones in the unit didn't work, the shower in the main bathroom had no running water, there was a dripping tap in the the ensuite sink and the remote for the air conditioner and main bedroom tv remote had no batteries. We paid $473.00 for a two night stay in off peak, I think if a family stays in this particular apartment number 102 in peak season they will be very disappointed unless these maintenance issues are addressed. This will be our first and last stay thanks for the memories.
