The moment I walked into our reception room I was speechless, I was met by the most gorgeous vision that was my wedding. I couldn't believe it! Alicia made my Australian native wedding dreams come true. Alicia and the team are the epitome of professionalism and creative genius. I gave Alicia very little direction, just a colour palate and a vibe and she and her team created something I could have only dreamed of. Everything was perfect, down to the smallest detail. There simply wasn't anyone who I could have trusted other than Alicia and her team at FOF to make our wedding. Being familiar with the wedding scene in the area, there was no other choice.Having known her since I was a young girl, I grew up watching the amazing creations that she was able to come up with for other brides and grooms.She blew my expectations out of the water. Safe to say I gave her a bit of a tricky and fiddly task and she made my vision come to life.There aren't many people who will respond to your email at 4am or call you when you are panicking about bump in times and candle placement.There is no one better that FOF if you are looking for someone who goes above and beyond, and who makes your wildest dreams come true.

I can't speak more highly of Alicia and her team at Form Over Function. From the very beginning of our wedding planning, Alicia's attention to detail and passion for what she does was evident. Not only does Alicia and her team have an eye for creating stunning weddings (I may be biased but the flowers from her team were the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen) , but she has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the logistics around planning, bump ins/outs and guest management. We had a challenging venue combined with La Niña rainfall in the lead up to our outdoor marquee wedding and Alicia single handedly navigated through every challenge like a pro and our wedding would not have been what it was without her. We had so many comments from guests about how seamless the day felt. On the day, I was able to relax and enjoy every moment due to this seamless planning. Also Alicia's deep network and great relationships with wedding vendors is worth it's weight in gold. Alicia keeps guests comfort and enjoyment at the centre of everything she does and thinks of every detail. Would highly recommend Form Over Function for your next event!

We are so happy that we had Alicia helping to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! Right from our first phone meeting, we were immediately put at ease knowing that we had placed our trust in exactly the right person. My partner and I have no experience whatsoever in planning an event, but Alicia listened to our story and managed to create a beautiful event that was so stunning and so personally reflective of us. From her gorgeous flower arrangements, to her brilliant ideas for a unique arbor/guestbook/table decorations, we were in love with the vision that she put together. If I could choose 11 out of 5 I would! I cannot thank Alicia and the team at Form Over Function enough. We rescheduled the wedding twice and being the quintessential bride I changed my mind just as often. Alicia was so accomodating, honest with prices and options for my budget, collaborated with me but equally would be able to run the show and create something magical. I don’t think I’d been to a wedding where so many guests took photos of the tables before anyone had taken a seat. Every detail was perfection and for me, made the day. Please do yourself a favour and choose Form Over Function for your special moments - the details really do matter.

It’s hard to put into words the enchanting effect Alicia and her team at Form Over Function Events had on our special day! From our first conversation, Alicia had an innate feel for not just what would make our Bendooley Estate wedding look beautiful, but also what would make it unique and meaningful to us as a couple.Alicia has unparalleled enthusiasm, vision and energy. More than one she spent hours at a time on the phone understanding what we were after and walking through all the aspects of her design, from flowers, to stationary, to ceremony and reception styling, and even arranging the cake. Despite this, nothing prepared us for our first glimpses of our ceremony and reception on the day - they were pure magic. Many of the guests commented that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever seen!We recommend Form Over Function Events wholeheartedly. Wedding styling, flowers in particular, are certainly a sizable part of any wedding budget and is important to be realistic as to what can be achieved for a particular cost bracket. The flowers were impeccable and the ceremony and reception were set up absolutely perfectly! We relied heavily on Alicia as we lived interstate and she kept us updated every step of the way.Alicia came highly recommended from a very prominent restaurant so we were expecting her to be well out of our price range - to our amazement she works within our budget. Alicia and the team did the most amazing job for our wedding, still till this day it was beyond anything we could of imagined and I'm beyond lucky to have worked with such an amazing team.My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding a few times due to COVID and our previous florist/designer was unable to take us again so when I found the team at Form over Function and spoke with Alicia I instantly knew I was in safe hands and she answered every question with no hesitation.On our wedding day we had our bridal party flowers delivered home and I was greeted with such joy and love by the team and the warmest hug and the flowers were beyond my wildest dream!Jump to our wedding day and venue which was stunning the team did such a great job and seeing Alicia there to see it come to life made it even more special.I highly recommend the team for your next event!
