A great family-friendly local pub! The place has a lovely beer garden with countless antique items to see:) our kids loved their big chalkboard and seeing parrots:) We held a beautiful event at the pub and loved every part of it including the experience and facilities! They put some thought into this cosy, family-friendly and unique pub!!!

I didn't stay but I loved the pub, the beautiful and pleasant hostess, but it was the food...I ordered the homemade rissoles with pumpkin and potato mash (separate) with peas and gravy. It was piping hot, with two rissoles the size of a lady's fist. Absolutely the best food I have been served in a long time! Delicious and well done!

I was real happy with my experience, danniele the bar manager offered to go out of her way and come in at 7am to give me my keys as I was doing nightshift, was a wonderful to chat with after work and a beautiful person, the other staff member who I didn't catch her name was so polite and helpful, and is hot AF, the kitchen staff were fantastic and made great meals for me, all in all I recommend to anyone working away for work or just for a great stay.. again the staff a all baddies, spesh the blondie whatever her name is! Go stay they're, 50 bucks a night is a steal

Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable atmosphere, interesting decor, fire pit outside, entertainment inside, cold and crisp beer on tap. Food was delicious with a familiar home cooked feel. Well recommended.

The staff at this pub, along with the owner deserve a review the place caters for the last person in the pub and the beer wow some place just have it figured out and this is one of them. I’d put up a picture of a beer but it’s that good this is all I got!

We decided to check this place out after reading all the obviously fake 1-star reviews, to see for ourselves what all the fuss was about. We definitely weren't disappointed, the food was fantastic, not overpriced, and we couldn't even finish our meals because they were huge. The atmosphere in the beer garden was fun and unique, and the staff made us feel super welcome and ended up chatting for ages. A really memorable experience, we're really glad we visited this pub!

All staff were pleasant and polite. We ordered some dinner which was delicious and reasonably priced. My boyfriend was happy with his cold beer. A great little country pub.
