Runcorn Dog Park

Park is very big and with ample equipment. Depending on timing, there may be people with bigger dogs which may be of an aggresive breed (may not be) but are not handling their dogs well.

My Siberian Husky, Lucas, and I atm are only the occasional early morning visitors to this dog park, and it has been an absolute delight for him. He relishes in the sandpit area, and his favorite activity is running and engaging in playful chases with other dogs around the sandpit areas. He's such a fast runner that the only thing stopping him from leaving the chasing dog pack behind is the fence! We used to visit in the afternoons, but due to the increased crowds, we've stopped doing so and for other various reasons. Now, our visits are exclusive to quieter, early mornings. I rate it 5 stars because Lucas grew up loving this dog park since he was a pup and it is spacious with a sandpit and a dog playground/ training area and even a separate dog park for the smaller dogs to play in.

Good dog park with nice local community. Dog owners are generally attentive and and mindful and considerate of their dogs behaviours.Downsides of this park is that the grass is often over grown and has many bare spots. This park is in need of a turf renovation.

Many Dog owners didn't take their dog's stools away using bags provided at the entrance. The field now has become very smelly and many insects have grown. Those insects can give very itchy and long lasting bites.

Great spot under the trees, nice temperature in the late afternoon as the trees shade the park. Good to have the different size dog enclosures

Great place for dogs, has a big and small dog area. It's a shame the agility equipment isn't also in the small dog area. Shame there's no public toilets nearby either.

Great dog park and lovely community of regulars. Definitely recommend visiting in the afternoon as that's when you can ensure your dog can find someone to play with.
