National Appliance Repairs Adelaide

I called National Appliance Repairs to have a technician come out after our dishwasher wasn't draining properly. Patrick was excellent; he discovered that a piece of shattered glass had blocked the drain pump. He cleaned it up and showed me how to maintain it. He was kind and helpful, and the price was reasonable.

Not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews, was told 7-10 business days for my dryer part to come in, then they booked me for the 14th and told me that's depending on the part arriving, they never actually booked it in, then I get told the technician isn't working till Friday. So all in all nearly 4 weeks to repair a dryer. Would not recommend at all*UPDATE* Dryer was repaired on the 20th of December finally, But despite the company admitting my review was in fact TRUE, they suggested I take it down before they repaired my dryer. They tried to harass me and bully me into taking down this review.This is why they have such great reviews because they bully people into removing bad ones, they are in actual fact very poor at communicating properly but if you leave a bad review they'll try to bully you to take it down, what a joke of a company

When I encountered a problem with my stove, I contacted several firms; however, only Patrick answered immediately and was accessible the next day. He was able to identify the problem and resolve it. Very pleased with the prompt and competent service; I'll use Patrick again if I need help with any other home appliances.

They came out and identified the problem, which was a split drain hose. Technician who came out was very nice and did a good job. I paid with card and asked about a quote to replace hose. He said the would be in touch soon. No response that day so I called the following morning. They told me it would takes between 24 to 48 hrs to get back to me with quote. Ok ! I got a phone call at 7:00 pm that night ( day and half after call out ) they quoted $180 for hose and 2 weeks to get it in with me paying the $25 postage. I refused as I wouldn’t get it done before Christmas Day. I looked online and bought the hose for $100 with $25 express post and got it in 2 days. Got a plumber to put it on. Very dissatisfied with the service and over charging for materials.

EDITED BELOWI am very happy with the service received. The communication while booking the time for the repair was clear and concise. The technician arrived on time, sorted out my dryer's issue, and even levelled my washing machine. All done within an hour, at a reasonable cost. Happy to recommend, and know who I will call if I have another appliance that needs attention!EDIT TO ADD: I was told there was a 3 month warranty period, so when the same issue arose a few weeks later, I called to have the technician return. Apart from general use of my dryer, nothing had been touched. I was told as it was the same problem, it wasn’t covered by the warranty so I had to pay another call out fee. The issue that I discussed with the technician on the 2 occasions he came to my home still happens. Not prepared to call a third time. Will never use this company again.
