The Kiewa General Store

Has been consistently a great place - post cricket training solo's, lunch time minimum chips before going down the river, allowing me to win footy tipping one year, plenty of Kiewa milk in the fridge.A single tear rolls down my cheek whenever I drive past and it's closed, because stepping inside feels like I have come home.

BEST BURGERS IN THE AREA!!!Having moved up from Melbourne recently my partner and I have struggled to find a place that does good fish and chip style burgers, until now.The staff/owners of the store were very friendly and accommodating with our burger orders and the flavours in the burger were sensational. You definitely get bang for your buck with the quantity of chips you order and it's nice to find a place who actually puts extra chicken salt on the chips when you ask for it. We will be back.P.S. If the owners do read this, I highly recommend uploading a picture of your menu board to your Facebook and Google photos. You will bring in a lot of tourists if they know in advance what food is on offer including us.

Perfect little store for a drop in takeaway meal.

A really great little country town store. Great service and assisted me with directions. A good enough selection of goods. Really good looking take away menu but I did not get to try it. Help out a small business and drop in if you are out and about driving around Kiewa.
