This is truly a hidden gem of the Central Coast tucked away in Norah Head. The staff are exceptional and the food , the food is a flavour bomb with every bite. This place is small with attention to customer service. They told us “we have limited number of tables but what we do , we do well” and couldn’t agree more ! Highly recommend booking a table through their website to enjoy this restaurant.

During our search for a late afternoon dining spot while we were driving throug the entrance, we stumbled upon a true hidden gem. This place exceeded our expectations in every way, leaving us with an unforgettable dining experience. The staff, in particular, stood out with their warm and friendly demeanor, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.One of the remarkable aspects of this establishment was its opening time. Being the sole option available in the area at 3pm, we decided to take a chance, and boy, were we glad we did! Our culinary journey at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional, leaving an indelible mark on our palates.From the moment we stepped foot inside, we couldn't help but fall in love with the place. Its inviting ambiance and cozy atmosphere created the perfect setting for an enjoyable meal. Every corner of the restaurant exuded a distinct charm, making it a delightful haven to unwind and indulge in delectable dishes.Speaking of the food, we were treated to a culinary symphony that tantalized our taste buds. Fabulous food we ordered a lot off the menu, everything was fresh, tasty and just in general awesome can’t wait to go back. The staff were fantastic nothing was a problem, The only thing I noticed this visit was the tortilla’s weren’t the best quite floury. The lamb was awesome. Brooke was our excellent server.

The food was phenomenal, truly amazing. But we felt the service was only OK. Cocktails were original and very good as well. BUT, Seriously we dropped some pretty good cash for feeling like we were an inconvenience to the staff club". BUT STILL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

Almost quaint but for the melamine tables and plastic plants. Food is good but for a few items over cooked. Service is almost good but for the fact that two people are not enough to run front of house, drinks and service. The music was good and the team friendlyish. Probably a good place to frequent if you’re a local but not worth driving a longway to visit. The do have craft beer albeit a small selection.

My wife and I adore this place. We've been three or four times and each time the service has been exemplary - when we phoned a day or two before Valentine's Day it was no problem to try and find us a table. We LOVE the fish tacos and tried the chocolate brownie which was insane. Easily the best place we've found to eat in a long time. Thanks for making us feel special each time we come to eat.

I would highly recommend Johnny Tapas! We booked for a group of 16 to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our group consisted of a few people who are allergic to certain types of foods. The staff were friendly, professional and made us all feel welcome. The food and cocktails were brilliant. We had a great time. Definitely be back :) Cheers
