Such a great charity of good works. The volunteers work tirelessly. They ask you how you would prefer goods you donate to be used eg food, sold for fundraising efforts, or given direct to sufferers of poverty, neglect and abuse. I said however they see fit but I requested where possible food, etc be given direct to people enduring hardship of various kinds so they receive the full benefit and can help heal and they agreed to give direct to the destitute of inner Melbourne. Thank you for your work in giving donations directly to the needy as we never know when we might be in need one day.

Great variety,many designers items for under $20 and mostly helpful,caring staff. Furniture section is very mediocre,but shoes,clothing,atworks and linen can be a real bargain.if you're planning on going,understand that this shop is an active provider for the disadvantaged people of St Kilda,so try not to be mean or impatient with the other customers.

4 stars for content but 2 stars for their high prices!Located amongst stkildas red light district, boarding houses and soup kitchen is this little gem.Stock changes quickly.They do sell tested electronics.Better than salvos
