Came here with family and friends, servicee was prompt, generous portion sizes, softshell crab and salmon was delicious. The beef tataki was a bit chewy. Also the fried rice which I forgot to take photos of came towards the end

Fukutontei Ramen Docklands
I'm so glad it's finally reopened after so long. This is now one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Melbourne. The food exceeds my expectations. Everything I ordered tasted perfect. The portion is very generous. The fried oysters and the katsu pork tasted amazing. Will definitely come back.

Here after a long photoshoot day.Food was served pretty fast, pay upfront which is fine. They saving a table for the staff to rest. They seem pretty busy. Have the Karaage chicken ramen, taste amazing, chicken are cooked perfectly, crunchy from the outside, flavour are amazing. My partner has that spicy beef ramen, so spicy but he love it. Sake of as recommend by the staff, bubbly flower, low alcohol and really bubbly l.

They have a wide ramen range to choose from. We ordered the classic miso ramen, fukutontei ramen, tori karaage ramen and gyoza ramen. All of them were delicious. The soups were very fragrant. Staff were nice and accommodative.

Nice Japanese restaurant location right in the district Docklands. Food is quite good but its taste is not always consistent. So you will never know what you get even if you order the same item each time.Weekdays seems fine but weekend is quite busy and hardly get any seating. Wait could be more than 40 as per they say before you enter.

We wanted to like this place. We hoped the food would be good. We hoped the staff would be friendly. The place just gave off a school cafeteria vibe more than a restaurant. Sure the menu is expansive, decently priced, and portions were good. But the ramen tasted bland, the fried entrees were too salty, and the drinks were haphazardly put together. There is a lot of room for improvement. It certainly doesn't help when you walk in the door and the first things you see are people sleeping in the benches in front of the counter, and their delivery for the day strewn about the tables.

After a long day, found this place.Firstly an iced tea made me calm and soothing.Coming to entree’s we ordered prawns and chicken skewers server with side salad.For mains we ordered chicken fried rice and signature ramen bowl with pork belly. Both are absolutely tasty.The quantities of the food is really good. Though the restaurant is busy, there is not much waiting for food. We ordered and within no time our food arrived.Staff are friendly and provided good service despite being busy.

Some really good asian / Japanese food. I had the sashimi salmon, which melted in the mouth - oishi! The house beer is also very good. This place is definitely worth a visit, and certainly 100% better than the chain junk food stores near bye!
