Jay on the Bay is a favourite of mine when in Huskisson. Great bamboo clothing for men, remarkably economic, just perfect summer clothing for me. It’s my south coast “Noosa” for summer clothing. I am surprised to see a bad review, I have had only very pleasant experiences with both male and female staff. Highly recommended.

What a great store, friendly service, loved their Linen and Bamboo clothing cant wait to go back and Ill be telling all of my friends too.

I really feel for these local businesses. After Zero tourism in the past couple of years times are tough.Upon entering this shop I wasn’t expecting a lot, it was quiet and people filtered in and out with no bags. I’d been into a number of shops and been ignored completely. Walking into this shop the keeper complimented me on my dress.I’d walked past this one on previous husky visits visiting for work, I noticed they stocked one of my favourite brands.Walking in they had a gorgeous array of clothes, RM Williams, cashmere sweaters and an amazing organic bamboo range… I chose a number of items off the rack and went to go and pay and the lovely lady (bless her) almost seemed shocked I was buying and referred me to the change room.. I said no no it’s ok I want to buy them. Once I showed readiness to buy she was helpful and showed me some other beautiful pieces. I’m very happy with my purchases.My comments to buyers are - be kind, they’ve been through a lot in the past few years. Be polite, retail is hard. Be patient, they’re a family business.Thank you for your help today.
