Stanley Village

Not worth 180 a night. Broken chair. Bottle opener no work. Freezer in fridge is broken. Not even a toaster and the electric jug leaks. Needs checking guys !!! Good water pressure tho

The apartments were great overlooking the water, easy walk to Stanley central and modern. Really enjoyed stanley.

Great place to rest your head in this little village setting right on waterfront. Stayed in a Villa, upstairs. Bed was very comfortable and soft. Tight stairwell, but still ok, nice large kitchen/lounge/dining area overlooking the bay. Huge bathroom, both kitchen and bathrooms appeared recently renovated and fitted with everything youd need, for a longer stay.

Stanley was our favourite place in Tassie. Great view from our room.

Basic accommodation, really comfortable bed. Could do with a little makeover especially in the bathroom. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

Great little motel with an absolutely fantastic beautiful view.They do need to do better with directions though! Booking had the wrong address and once you show up to the right place you are directed to the local pub up the road.

We stayed in Room 9. Quite a comfortable room but it was very very windy and we got no sleep as it sounded like some of the roof sheets were loose because it sounded like they were flapping in the wind. Maybe needs some roof maintenance not sure.Mirror in the bathroom was too low. You had to duck down to see yourself in the mirror.Electric recliner didn't work on one of the 2 seater lounges.

Small villa, great location, very clean and comfortable. Would have liked some facilities such as crockery and a microwave.

Previously we have stayed in the appartments and found them to be quite lovely. When booking through booking.com this time we were booking for the appartments once again but upon arrival we were told that we had been placed in The Anchorage. Very disappointing! The photos were very misleading. All the photos showed the appartments apart from two that were placed in amongst the rest.While the view is still really nice the cleaner probably needs to have a think about whether or not they want to be in the cleaning profession..... qfurniture was comfortable but very haggard and worn. Parking was nearly impossible with our 4x4 and not enough room for both ourselves and the second party with us. That all said we were comfortable with the good heating and availability of Dvds and books. Beds were nice and comfortable.

Beautiful little town, amazing watching the weather & different colours changing the look of 'the Nut' p.s. even on a slow WALK up the Nut took 15-17min. So do it! Challenge yourself!
