The Green Emporium

What an amazing place! Full of beautifully decorated terrariums and cute little plants. The owner was absolutely lovely, answered all the questions i had asked and to her high knowledge. Highly recommend this place for gifts :)

You can find many different things here. From easy care plants sold in small batches, and complex pieces. They have ones that are in glasses, wood for pots, hanging ones, etc. Such creativity. Absolutely beautiful

Just found this beautiful shop as I wanted something different for my wife's Valentine present. I received great service from the lady in the shop and she also gift wrapped it for me as well.. My wife was so happy with it and its going to last a lot longer than a bunch of boring roses!! Thank you so much

I adore this store, and the owner is an angel, I’m not shy when it comes to asking questions and I have had MANY, my questions have always been answered and iv left with the knowledge I needed, through the information iv gotten from the green emporium, iv had a very large terrarium THRIVING, for what must be almost three years.

My happy place: The Green Emporium is, without prejudice, the most unpretentious plant store in all of Perth. I have never ever been made to feel puerile or unknowledgeable here. After paying 3x more for a “collectors” plant at a different store, my new rule is, if Kris has it in stock, don’t bother elsewhere. She never overcharges.No exorbitantly priced pots here either.Different plant “boutiques” seem to specialise in different things. The Green Emporium shines in terrariums and stocks the quirkiest plants and paraphernalia (think skulls, lithops, carnivorous plants, boho macrame pot hangers, trunk hollows turned into pots, moss balls...).There’s always something new every-time you pop in store. Kris is a one woman operation unlike other stores that have 3-4 owners. When life happens, forces beyond her control dictate she closes for the day with no one to fill in for her.In this case, check your entitlement at the door. So impressed! I wanted to buy everything! Reasonably priced too, which is amazing because some places like this can be a bit expensive. The owner was also really helpful, gave me lots of great tips about some plants I was having trouble with at home too!!

The Green Emporium is always my first choice when purchasing living gifts for friends. I make a special trip up from Mandurah - the service and quality of the terrariums and plants in store is incredible and I aways leave with a big smile on my face after enjoying a chat. After care service is also excellent

An unreal creative space filled to the brim with terrariums, plants, plant pots, books and trinkets. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to without being in your face, letting you browse with no pressure to buy. Love it!

We came to the store just on 3pm. Lights were on, door was locked. Inside there was a person photographing plants. She looked at us and then ignored us. There is no signage on the door or window providing opening/closing times (closes at 3pm). You would like think, at a minimum she opens the door and advises that she is shut or (pushing the boundaries of possibilities) goes something like I have just closed

A fantastic little shop filled with such magical creations, I don't think it's possible to walk in and not be tempted straight away! Each time I've visited I have spent an embarrassing amount of time walking around and staring but the owner doesn't mind at all, she is lovely. I would recommend the store to anyone interested in plants & terrariums, it is very easy to walk to from Freo's city center.
