Move It Mate

Had 2 trucks ordered. One truck rocked up.Tried calling and calling with no response until 5 hrs later which was too late. When I eventually connected they compensated me 1.5 hrs even though they didn’t turn up and we were moving until midnight. They didn’t solve the problem and if anything I saved him money because they would have had to work on Sunday with penalty rates Won’t be using them again!!!The other truck was contracted by beta transport and removals. They saved my night even though we had to work longer. I would use these guys directly.Really disappointed and frustrated with the lack of accountability from MoveITmate.

Worst moving experience ever. The removalists were 3 hours late and gave lies about why they were delayed. The main removalist, Harry, was very unprofessional, sleazy, yelling out he loves me. They damaged the door frame of my new rental property as well as 3 items of furniture. I was advised they would pay for repairs to the door frame and organise a handyman. After a month of waiting I chased them up and was advised their handyman was busy but they would pay for repairs if I found a handyman. I had the door frame repaired and emailed Move It Mate the invoice. My handyman did not receive payment. I emailed twice more but they still did not receive payment. Move It Mate did not respond to any of the 3 emails I sent about the payment. I gave them ample opportunity to rectify this issue and they ignored it. I am now out of pocket for the repairs. Moving house is already stressful enough without having to deal with such terrible service. I moved in February and am still dealing with the issues at the end of April.

Be very careful using Move it Mate Docklands.They arrived a couple of hours late using a couple of different reasons that seemed most unlikely.The driver tried to renegotiate the rates when they did arrive.I requested they to talk with their boss who had sent the quote. They then got in their truck and left ! No conversation about what they were doing. No return call from any of their phone numbers or e-mail.Have been completely ghosted.Paid a deposit to lock the job in so still trying to hear their side of events and to recover deposit.... wish me luck with that !To Move it Mate company you have my phone number and my e-mail. i booked though a friend who recommended move it mate. thinking it would be helpful. the driver was ok but his helper was unprofessional, vaping in my house during the job , swearing using foul language infront of my kids. and instead of helping me they broke my t.v , broke my brand new furniture , my daughter jewellery went missing. i tired to call the office they took my money and they said their office will follow up with the damages insurance and replace the broken stuff. i have emailed and called more than 50 times , no response at all! DO NOT BOOK YOUR MOVE WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! Worst experience in my life!

I used Move It Mate to move houses and it's been the worst experience for the following reasons:1. The removalists were over 2 hours late in the morning2. They damaged my walls and furniture when moving and when I pointed it they either said oh sorry" casually and walked away or said "I think that was there already". I had just received the keys and rental inspection report so there's evidence of status of the property.3. The owner asked for the full payment over the phone before unloading larger furniture and once I made the payment the owner did not inform the removalists and would not answer my phone calls

I used move it mate move our belongings in December 2021. The move was not far just from one suburb to the next. The move should have taken no more than three hours. It took the movers eight hours to move a two bed room home and nearly all our furniture was damaged. Every time I call they say that the team is looking in to it. The team who came to move our belongings were slow taking there time and arrogant and had an argument with our neighbours. They also damaged our new home. It’s been three months and I haven’t heard anything…I chose them partly based on there reviews in on google not sure now weather they are genuine reviews now. I wouldn’t recommend them…

You can’t find a better moving company3 bedroom apartment with long distance to the truck. Took 5 hours all in all.Trust all the good reviews - you won’t find a better moving company in Melbourne. These guys are absolutely fantastic! They take great care of your items and ask for your input on where you want them placed in the new house. We’ve hired them twice now and both times have been fantastic with no complaints. I’d never hire any other company.

I am very pleased with Move It Mate moving service!After doing some research and weighing up the cost of moving furniture from Essendon to Alrona and hearing good things from my friend about Move It Mate, I decided to give them a shot.I recently had a bad experience with movers, I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect. To my delight they were very professional from my first phone call to end of the journey.They constantly kept me in the loop through multiple ways of communication, email, text and phone calls, great communication.When they arrived at my apartment the elevator wasn’t working, it was raining, and the only way up was a steep slippery staircase with narrow steps.I asked the boys not to proceed if they think it’s too dangerous. After assessing the situation, they soldiered on and brought up everything in one piece. Not a scratch on any of my furniture. I have glass table, very heavy matters and a lot more.It was an amazing effort by the boys. Thank you, Praveen and Family

Great jobGood service by Sam and Jack. Very Punctual and on time while safely moving all furniture and our stuffs. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a helping hand.

Had a a terrible experience when moving last month. I was promised experienced removalists, but was sent two who were inexperienced and had no idea what they were doing.I brought up my concerns with a manager upon completion of the move and was offered a 20% discount for next time I move - as if I'll be using this company again!I have emailed their customer service team and still, over one month on, nothing has been addressed. $500 down the drain, would not recommend to anyone. Useless!
