I’ve been coming to Mimi’s for almost 9 years now. Both Mimi and her team are always so professional and punctual. I’ve had to get whole suits tailored for my husband in a hurry and she would always get it done when I needed them. Mimi and her team are well skilled and well priced.

Been coming to Mimi for years and introduced everyone I know here. There is nothing she can’t do and to perfection. I’ve brought all my complex and detailed designer dresses here and she’s the only one I would trust to do them!My husband does all of his suits and shirts here too and doesn’t go anywhere else. Moreover mimi and her team are fast, reasonably priced and truly lovely people.We’ve both brought items that need a lot of work and always been very impressed with the quality of work.Thank you Mimi and team we love your work!!!

Got a dress altered here and Mimi is incredible. She also charges reasonable prices! Best alterations place around, won't go anywhere else from now on!

The worst experience ever. Been a loyal customer for three years, spent so much money here and today is the last time I will ever visit. I Brought in one job, she slacked off the job for 3weeks long and the result came out not as agreed. Mimi refused for a refund, and being so rude that she told me she doesn’t need my small jobs because they’re busy enough they don’t need money from me. If this is how you treat your loyal customer I wish you all the best for your future because you will be closing down very soon.

Terrible and rude customer service. I had 3 pants taken up and asked that they were blind stitched and requested that the cut offs be returned to me for use on something else. Mimi said they would call me when the pants were ready but they did not and then was rude when I called to follow it up. I finally collected my pants and only 1 was blind hemmed and the other two pants were machine stitched with threads hanging on the outside. The threads were a non matching colour. The cut offs I requested were thrown away even though I specifically asked for them and when I questioned it she yelled at me and said I didn't ask for it and that I was late to collect my pants anyway. There was also chalk marks on the bottom of one of pants. I would never use them again.

She botched my brand new jacket. Something of good quality now does not feel right when I wear it. It bunches up by the armpits and tight in areas where it did not feel tight before. The stitching was so off that she missed an area leaving a large hole. This is not the quality of work considering the price you pay and you consider yourself a tailor. When I came back to tell her and show her the horrendous stitching where there was a hole in it, she screamed it was not her problem. I went back to David Jones to compare the work she did to the original seams of the jacket and it was shocking. The sewing was done so carelessly and uneven. Stitching the sleeves in parts where there was no stitching. Even the sales person at David Jones apologised to me. I really do wish I read these reviews before going to her. She should be out of business with her work and attitude. Shes a fraud.

I had taken a pair of bell bottom pants to have it altered - they cost me a fair bit so I wanted the alterations to be done professionally. But when I went to collect it they had completely gotten rid of the bell bottom shape and made it a straight legged pant which completely ruined the look. On top of that the sewing at the hems came off after wearing it 3x which goes to show how terrible they are in their sewing technique. Would not visit/use their services again

I’ve been using Mimi for over 8 years and always love the quality and service Mimi and her staff bring. The amount of times I use her to alter my garments is quite often as I’m in between sizes and I love how efficient and professional Mimi is with how she delivers.I always recommend clients to her as being a personal stylist, my recommendations for alterations for clients need to be top quality care and professionalism.Highly recommend her. 11/10

Have used this tailor pre COVID - no change in attitude. Possibly the rudest tailor I have come across. I went in today to ask for a small alteration to a dress - they could barley be bothered to get up and speak to me. Both ladies were rude, dismissive and completely unwilling to even consider a same day job. I wouldn’t give these ladies business if they were the last tailor on earth.The best tailor in Westfield Sydney (also dry cleaners) - Maurice. On the ground floor on the right hand side before you enter David Jones food hall. Amazing service! Pleasant! No ask was too much - and - same day service. They actually had everything ready earlier than I asked for. Brilliant seamstress! Couldn’t recommend them more highly!
