Amazing. Just amazing. Come there in the morning, during day time, afternoon. At night. Always stunning how the place is changing with the light. Also stunning view from there to Ayers Rock/Uluru

Great vantage point to view both Kata Tjuta and Uluru in the distance. The day we went the sunrise was blocked by deep haze, which lifted by 9am. Despite the haze we do got a great view of the semi arid national Park surrounding Kata Tjuta.

About a 45 - 50 minute drive from Uluru, this lookout point is another great way of taking in the vast landscape that is the Northern Territory. The flies were some of the worst we experienced while visiting, so I definitely recommend a fly net. Not more than a 10-15 minute stop to view the Ulgas in the distance. Keep in mind it is about a 10 minute walk from your parked car to the actual viewing area. Some in sand in case you have wheelchair requirements.

I mean you can't really describe this kind of place with words you have to visit yourself. It was phenomenal obviously. To be able to see Kata Tjuta and Uluru, I've wanted to visit here since I was about 8 years old. It was amazing to be able to hike all around kings canyon here too. I highly recommend just going yourself and taking it all in. Everyone fusses over photo taking etc but just sit back and watch the sunset and enjoy the moment. Realize what you are witnessing.

Good place to stop on the way to Kata Tjuta for panoramic pictures. A short walk (perhaps about 200 meters) well accessible, from the carpark to the platform viewing area.

Beautiful experience to see the sun rise and shine onto the face of Uluru. The colour and textures change before your eyes, it was an inner awakening and very spiritual.

On the evening that we visited to view the sunset, (New Year's Eve), the sun was obscured behind cloud as it set, so unfortunate timing for us. Nevertheless, the viewing platform affords views of both Kata Tjuta and a more distant view of Uluru; the views of Kata Tjuta are particularly good.

From this platform you can see the sunrise next to Uluru. It's very far away but still makes for an amazing experience and great pictures. You get much closer views of Kata Tjuta but the sun doesn't rise next to it. There will be a ton of other tourists so get there early to get a good spot as the platform is not that large in the direction of sunrise.

This carpark is 17km ahead of the sunset viewing area carpark. Park here to access the elevated Dunes viewing area. This viewing area is to the south of Kata Tjuta, so it's great spot to view both Sunrise and sunset. It also gives a great perspective of Uluru.
