Apollo Blinds Awnings Shutters and Curtains Melbourne

I placed an order for blinds on 9th Dec with Frank in Melbourne. Despite paying 50% monies upfront I have had no communication from them. I've been chasing Frank and their head office numerous times for the last 2 months but they don't care. You get the 'we will get back to you when it's done'. Do not waste your money with them. Very unprofessional and dodgy.

Can't fault with their service in any way. Installed 5 motorised blinds, one shutter and three curtains, and all of them look and work amazingly well. Despite some kinks in communication earlier, nothing that couldn't be resolved over a phone call or two, everything worked out beautifully at the end. I was continuously updated about the progress of the manufacturing and delivery and couldn't have expected a better job at installation. Frank was respectful, amiable and did a fantastic job. Overall wonderful job and would definitely use them again.

Atrocious customer service. Booked a measure and quote a month ago specifying I’ll need an afternoon appointment after work from 2pm onwards. Was promised a call the day before to confirm a time - no one rang. The rep ‘Frank’ rang me at 9.30am on the day and we locked in 3pm appointment time. He then rocked up to my house unannounced an hour later while I was at work. When I rang him and questioned why he came earlier I was verbally abused, sworn at and hung up on. Insane behaviour. If this is how a client is treated before they have my money, I’m scared to think what will happen once they do. Used Apollo Blinds in Brisbane and also had issues with the quality of their products (albeit customer experience was better). Avoid this business like the plague.

Not great customer service in Melbourne. Had an appointment booked in a week in advance week to get a measure and quote. The appointment window was the WHOLE day (which was a little annoying for planning around work), but was told I would get a call the night before or morning of to narrow it down. Never got that call. When I called them at lunch the day of my appointment was told the consultant had decided not to come and hadn't told me or their sales team. They couldn't arrange someone else to come on that notice. So had a wasted day! If they can't measure and quote, I wouldn't trust them to actually deliver the product.Decided to go with Wynstan (with a Y). As an aside, Wynstan's salesperson turned up promptly (exactly when they said) and gave a competitive price.

I have had nothing but trouble! I ordered my outdoor blinds for my alfresco in January 2022 paying a 50% deposit. Blinds arrived in the April but then they were missing something, so finally they came to install in August 2022. The installers were about 5 hours into the job and realised the measurements weren’t right and the heights were way out. The franchisee was genuinely sorry and really embarrassed.It took them till Feb 2023 to come back….then the blinds were mostly installed but again the measurements weren’t right and this time they were too wide! So I have heard nothing from the franchisee about an update. I have blinds up that are okay but I am not happy with what is currently there.I have a product that does not fit and a company who don’t communicate!I think in the end of the manufacturing part of the org can get it right the blinds look like they will will lovely. We aren’t there yet!

I was very happy with the new awning once it arrived. They did a great job installing it too.

Terrible quality! The blinds fell down after two years of usage, and the staff ignored my email regarding the issue. Stay away from this company!

We have now used Apollo on 3 occasions. The service has always been prompt and reliable, the product is great and the price very competitive. We will be using them again.

Frank came out for measuring and provided a quote promptly. I made the 50% down payment 2 months ago and have not been able to get hold of them since. I don't have blinds, and I paid hundreds of dollars. Don't use!

Ordered from Apollo blinds 5+ years ago and loved them.Been trying to get a quote for some time for our new house and I keep getting ghosted, first measure and quote was incorrect and have been trying to get it amended so I can order BUT no one is returning my calls and emails.Looking through these reviews, makes me feel relieved that I have not ordered as others seem to be getting the same treatment after they have paid.What happened Apollo? have you gone under?
