DECO HOTEL

Excellent - would recommend. 4 1/2 stars. Sectional in living room. Kitchenette includes washer and dryer. Rainfall shower with good pressure. Separate bedroom. Great staff. Good Italian restaurant in the lobby.Took away half a star because the carpet needed to be replaced and the wall controls for air, lights, curtains, etc were a little sensitive.Overall, fantastic hotel. Would gladly come back.

Great place to stay and really good value accommodation. I brought my mum to Canberra for her birthday and we spent 2 nights at Deco and ate in their restaurant Two14. Really positive experience and the staff were just lovely. Good vibes.

We have stayed twice at the Deco while down for ANZAC, and stayed in Suite 603-04, faces Northbourne Ave. The suite is very clean, large and spacious, with everything you need for a family.The view of black mountain, and watching the sun set and rise in the evening and early morning is lovely while sitting on the balcony over brekkie and dinner.This time round we had a little glitch with the (power point in the main bathroom) it short circuited causing power blackout. (Katie) at reception was extremely helpful and professional, attending to our call immediately.The best thing about the Deco, apart from the Suite & Service is how peacefully quiet the place is, (its bliss). compared to other hotels. Bonus the (great rates & free parking you get when booking directly). The proximity to everything you need - Canberra centre, parks. farmers market, and the tramline across the road.Deco is our place away from home when we're down in Canberra.Katie, Thank you for your exceptional services and assistance on Sunday 23/4/23. Perfect location. The staff were lovely when we arrived and the rooms are spacious and clean. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and the food was great. Would definitely recommend.

A great option for a Canberra stay. The rooms are immaculate, and the one bedroom apartment was very spacious. The location is good, and just a pleasant 20 minute stroll to the Canberra Centre. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Very new property, tops the charts for value and cleanliness in the area.Stayed 1 night on a busy Saturday, check in was crowded but an easy experience - newspapers strategically placed nearby so it made the wait a non issue.Both staff and trainee were pleasant, courteous and well trained.Rooms are large, full of amenities and very clean. Slippers provided which always yields bonus points!Will return to this gem.

Excellent modern hotel that is finished to a high standard. Very spacious suite for the price paid, with large dining and living space, bedroom with en suite. Cleaning facilities of washing and drying machines in the room room. We had room service for breakfast and dinner which were both excellent too. Location was good and only around a 15 minute walk from bars and restaurants. Overall could not fault the hotel only small complaint was we were unable to use Netflix on the TVs. Would thoroughly recommend shame we were only here one night.

Amazing hotel, this is clean and modern with all the mod cons. I booked in with minimal notice and was kindly given a room upgrade. The air con had been switched on in the room prior to arrival which was much appreciated given how cold it was outside. The 2nd night of my stay dropped to -7, I was warm, comfy and toasty and totally oblivious to the cold air outside even with the air con turned off. This will be my go to hotel for work trips!

We have had installation teams stay at Deco Hotel numerous times over the past two years and always been impressed. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable to retreat to at the end of a big day of work. Having our workers comfortable when working away from home is imperative and Deco Hotel always provides that. I should mention the prices are always very reasonable too. Spent a lot more in hotels that are nowhere near as nice.Our most recent booking come with some issues (my fault) when I booked the rooms for the day I was booking them on, when my intention was to book it for the following week. Not sure what happened but amongst phone calls and other distractions, I booked on the wrong day.The money was taken out of our accounts which flagged me to the issue and I called the hotel immediately at 6am in the morning to explain what had happened. The person on reception could not do anything for me but did support my suggestion of speaking to a manager when they started later on.I called the manager a couple of hours later who was extremely helpful and she was able to transfer the booking dates to the intended time and she could see what I had done was a genuine error.The sign of a well run institution is the treatment of their paying customers, whilst it was my error, they were understanding of the situation and granted me the credit I was after. I am sure things might have been different if the hotel was fully booked, but I doubt the error would have been able to be made as I made the booking after the days allocated check in time.All in all, we will visit Deco Hotel every time we have work in Canberra.

Spacious, modern, clean. Booked direct and received a good rate plus free secure underground parking. The staff were lovely. My new favorite place to stay in Canberra and I am already spreading the word. Well done deco hotel!
