Tamborine Mountain Pizza

After so many 4+ star reviews I was excited to experience these pizzas. I waited over 2 hours for delivery and then had to deal with the most chewy pizza base I've had in years. I was not impressed.

Bought dinner here while staying in town, we walked in and were told they could fit us in an hour, so we ordered, went back to our AirBNB and came back.Paid $55 for two pizzas, what we got was overdone, brown and pretty dry. It all looked and tasted like grilled cheese on toast.It was perfectly edible - after all who doesn't like grilled cheese... but there was not really much flavour and the two different types of pizzas we got tasted the same.For the price and the way they (owner?) acted I had high hopes but was sorely disappointed.

One of the best vegan pizzas I've tried. They were super busy, but it was worth the wait. Very friendly staff and great service.

Have had a few pizzas from here and they have always been outstanding! The bases are the perfect texture and the toppings are just spot on! Fantastic to have such great pizzas on the Mountain. Looking forward to visiting again.

Best pizza I have ever had in Queensland, both flavor and value wise!We grabbed their jumbo half and half, with chicken on the BBQ base and their blue cheese base pizza with ground beef, as well as a garlic bread for only $35. The garlic bread was so soft and drenched in garlic butter but not soggy. Taste wise, it was brilliant and not overly greasy. The pizza was amazing! It had everything I love in a pizza. The crust was thin and soft, and was loaded with cheese and toppings. They were very generous with their ingredients, which we really appreciated. The blue cheese pizza was surprisingly tasty, as I was a bit skeptical when the lovely staff member recommended it to us, but I’m really glad we had it. You could def taste the blue cheese in there but not so much that it was overpowering and overshadowing the rest of the ingredients. The combo was very coherent, in a way that every ingredient had its own distinctive flavor but all blended well and complimented each other. The chicken pizza was even better. The meat was tender and chunky; while the BBQ sauce was evident, it was very subtle, which I was really impressed with.Service wise, we thought it was absolutely fantastic. The staff member (sorry we did not catch your name) who took our order was not only super friendly and bubbly but also evidently passionate about what she does. Thank you for the amazing experience, given it was only takeaway. Could only imagine what it would be like dining in there. She def needs a raise for her attitude and passion!No wonder they have been running for over 27 years. The quality goes without saying. Thanks so much again for the fabulous experience, hopefully we will be able to come back before heading back to Brisbane.

This is one of my favourite pizza places I've ever eaten at, every time we're on the mountain we make at least one trip here. Make sure to call ahead with your order as they are very popular. The Blue cheese pizza is stand out, and the fact that they do free half and half (so you get to sample more of their menu). We also got the tiramisu which was very tasty!

Highly recommended by the airbnb. We ordered the jumbo half and half meat lovers and spinach and ricotta with garlic base , absolutely delicious. We had a wait time of 1.5hrs but was worth the wait. We highly recommend ⭐️ Definitely will be eating here again on our next trip away

We had a really lovely experience here. In search of a gluten free pizza we were offered 2 sizes and the option to do a half and half pizza. The base was so good, gluten free and all, it was still as good as the best wheat based pizzas I've had.Very good pizza and very kind staff.

Fantastic pizzas with lovely staff. Shop was clearly extremely busy last night but the staff maintained a happy and cheerful atmosphere. Whilst there was a wait, it was definitely 110% worth it. Would highly recommend the truffle mushroom pizza.
