Occasionally I like to sink a beer in a pub that hasn't been renovated to the absolute latest interior design limits. The service here is lovely and the locals really add to the vibe. You'll find Dazza and his mullet yelling at the footy and old Graham perched at the bar gripping tightly to his red tin. This place is authentic and worth a visit.

Great little pub with atmosphere and friendly service. Was very quiet for a midweek lunch, but we enjoyed the food. All in all, a good experience.

Definitely an old school pub atmosphere, can't get more old school than a meat raffle. Went there on a cold and rainy Friday night and were not disappointed, we were greeted by a warm fire and friendly staff.Several beers on tap as well as the famous Guinness made for a pleasant night .Great quality food, I had the fish and chips which were very generous in their portions and cooked with a crispy pale ale beer batter , followed by a delicious dessert of home made sticky date pudding with vanilla bean ice cream, was absolutely top shelf .Do yourself a favour drop in have a meal and a pint, you will not be disappointed

Nice comfy friendly atmosphere. Variety of areas to sit, drink or eat.Sat outside in garden seating, had the t bone, done to perfection.The schnitzel also tasty and mixed grill even better. Decent size meals,nice venue, will return

Great family feel to this cozy little country pub.Food is hot, beer is COLD.. what more can you ask for?Bar staff and patrons are welcoming, Gordy is always up for a chat and is just a top notch host.For all the naysayers, it appears you lack any taste.. Because the menu is all about flavour! Generally if you have an issue with an item and you approach the staff in a polite manner, they are more than happy to help.If you haven't been, make sure you go!

We ordered takeaway Wednesday night - chicken schnitzel and chicken tenders to share. Went to collect and was handed a pizza box with the schnitzel, pepper sauce, chips, 3 tenders and some old bits of lettuce in a ‘doggy bag’ container and a ‘salad’.The salad container was only half full with one slice of cucumber cut in 2, one slice of capsicum and some bits of lettuce. The chicken was nice but seriously this was quite appalling overall as a takeaway both in presentation and food.Normally much better than this.

This pub has a country feel which I like. The staff were very friendly, helpful and very efficient in delivering the meals we ordered. The meals ordered were plentiful but could have been a little bit better than we experienced. The steak was a little tough and the chips a little over cooked. However, we did enjoy ourselves and will go back another time.

Cold rainy night saw the Mr. and me out for tea. The hotel was busy, people sitting inside and others braving the cold. We had booked a table earlier in the day.We say near the windows but it was too dark and rainy to see out.We shared a bowl of onion Rings and bbq sauce, and the Batter was crispy, not only. The onion was cooked, and you were able to bite the onion ring without it pulling out of the batter. I had a chicken snitzel with Dianne sauce, and my sides were steamed veggies and chips. The veggies were cooked just right, the chips crunchy and the sauce creamy. The snitzel was thick and juicy. I finished off with the strawberry and vanilla cheesecake... this was homemade and served with a raspberry couli...yummy.

We were there with a group of 30+ they were short staffed but wow. What an amazing job they did. Food was delicious and there service was excellent. big A++ to the junior waiter. You nailed it mate. Well done.
