We had the most amazing weekend here with another couple and their daughter. The house has everything you could need and it’s right in the middle of the vineyards. In 5 minutes you are amongst some of the great Mudgee wineries, or at a restaurant in town. OR stay in as the owners have thought of everything. From the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for a long while, to a fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ for bacon and eggs breakfast and steak for dinner on the terrace. We will definitely be back.

This will be our 3rd time to Mudgee, where once again we will be enjoying what we call our own private piece of paradise". The Old Post Office is just the perfect spot for a getaway in God's country. Surrounded by beautiful orchards and vineyards. Best of all

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. Arnya was the perfect host - looked after us and made us feel very much at home. So many touches that were so lovely!!The cottage is in a great location - not too far out of town (approx. 5mins). Perfect for 6 people (3 couples) - really spacious and comfortable. We cannot wait to go back!! Could not recommend high enough. Extremely happy with everything about our stay :-)

The property is first rate. We have loved it since our first visit over 10 years ago. Too many trips now to count. It’s beautifully situated with gorgeous views over the countryside. So peaceful to sit and enjoy. The house is wonderfully appointed and so comfortable. The perfect size for a small group or just two. Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you could want to make delicious meals to enjoy al fresco. Close to several world class wineries and 5 minutes from Mudgee town, and all the restaurants, cafes, shops, galleries and pubs, it’s the best of both worlds. It’s our home from home in the country. Highly recommended.

The Old Post Office cottage is just beautiful. The house is immaculate & beautifully decorated. Clean,warm & homely. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials plus much more! The location is perfect nestled amongst the vineyards & just minutes drive from so many fantastic wineries. We fell in love with this Mudgee region & also the Old Post Office Cottage & all of its history & charm.There would be no other place for us to stay when we come back!
