SunRise Kids Early Education and Care - Mt Gravatt

Our little girl started mid through the year, and has developed so much. The all the ladies are great to deal with. Felicity loves her time at day care every week. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely centre and friendly staff! We have had our kids attend since 2017 and have had nothing but positive experiences! Although there are different rooms/teachers for each age group, every teacher knows my kids names and always greets them with a smile and cuddle! one of my girls has now started Prep she is always greeted and when she comes to pick ups too!My daughter has grown and learnt so much since attending and is always happy when I pick her up!! If we ever need an extra day the centre is very accommodating!Would recommend to family and friends

My daughter absolutely adored her time with the team at sunrise kids Mount Gravatt. The staff are so dedicated to the children and so kind. I recommend this daycare 100% to anyone in the area looking for a daycare. .

My son Axel has been attending this childcare for over a year. It has been the best day care so far. The facility is good and clean. My child has experienced numerous activities. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Each staff member is amazing they are top stars. Thank you to each staff member (Jessee) and for taking great care of our son.

My son has attended Sunrise Kids for the last year. He started in the Daisy Room and has progressed to the Frangipani room. He goes 2 days a week on average, but the centre is excellent and very accomodating when it comes to any extra requirements.The centre provides and caters for students of all needs and abilities. Despite him being allocated to a certain area - all staff are friendly, courteous, and appropriate. He has a mix of male and female teachers which in my opinion adds completely to the experience. The staff and students are culturally diverse providing my son with a resprestative sample of the normal population and the importance of migration and inclusivity. The staff take the time to provide for unique experiences based on the individual child's inquiries and interests. This shows dedication by not only the centre, but the individual educators.The facility has an excellent playground for the children and is clean and immaculate. They even has chickens for the children to interact with.My background is teaching, primary education, and university vocational and education based lecturing/tutorials. I have extensive experience in evaluating classroom situations, early childhood and developmental literacy programs, vocational practicums, along with assessment and design frameworks surrounding ECE and educational policy. This centre ticks all the boxes in my opinion and I would recommend it to any person I know or interact with.

I came to sunrise kids from another big centre, I found sunrise to be much more warming and inviting for my daughter. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this centre to all my family and friends.

My experience at Sunrise kid early education and care in Upper Mount Gravatt for one day orientation session was In October 2016.I am mother of a 2.5 year old son. I took my 23 month old son to Sunrise kid early education and care in Upper Mount Gravatt for one day orientation session.There were 3 teachers in the room who just one of them was friendly and was explaining the routine to me. The other 2 were so unfriendly and just they told me hi and that's it. Even no eye contact!I got tension from the staff and the atmosphere.Even once the leader of the room shouted at some kids for packing up and then my son and I were shocked and got nervous. They were so strict and not a warm relationship with kids! I felt sad for all the kids as I felt they are not happy at all.The worst part of my experience was at nap time as the leader of the room showed no compassion or patience especially for one of the kids. She was really rough with the little boy who was around 2.5 year old. He wasn’t doing something bad, just sitting in his crib with a blanket. Miss Lin laid him down a few times and forcing him to lay down on his tummy and then covered his head completely with the linen!!! holding him down and patting on his head hard!! He didn't wanted the linen on his head but she shouted I don't care" and just kept patting on his head until he got quiet!!!When I saw that

Teachers and carers are loving, caring and very reliable. My child is growing well and learning a lot while at the centre. Highly recommend the centre.
