Thank you so much to CHU insurance and in particular Vince Tramonte (CHU-Senior Loss Adjuster). I can honestly say that Vince has a level of compassion, empathy and heart that I certainly did not expect to encounter when dealing with an insurance company.In April 2022, my brother and my 76 year old mother lost their home to a devastating house fire which resulted in a total loss. The villa complex was insured by CHU strata building insurance. Within 24hrs of the incident occurring, Vince was appointed as the Senior Loss Adjuster. I worked closely with Vince over a period of 8 months to ensure that both my mum and my brother would not have to endure any further trauma or unnecessary stress.Vince was very understanding and wasted no time arranging urgent and ongoing fully furnished accommodation which most importantly was accessible and suitable for my mother due to her mobility needs. Vince was extremely professional and caring throughout the entirety of the process. CHU covered all the costs of the rebuild including 7 months provision of 4 star accommodation.My mum and my brother now have an amazing new home and we will be forever grateful for everything that Vince and the CHU team have done for our family.

Very easy to manouever quoting system. We googled to find appropriate properties for the rental unit we are purchasing, and CHU up with the best features & value for money. Have now turned the quote into a policy with a start date for when settlement goes through.

After paying many years of Landlord Insurance, I finally come across CHU with a very competitive premium. If I had known earlier, I would have insured all my properties with them. Highly recommend you check out their rates!

I had worked with CHU over numerous years professionally as a Strata Manager and always had a great experience. Certainly the most prompt and understanding when it comes to claims, acceptance is always per policy wording, it never felt like they were trying to avoid accepting claims. They are quick with renewal quotes and never let me down in that regard. I am on the Committee of my own Strata and we have our policy with CHU for this reason, I also have my landlord policy with them - they have special excess offers when your Strata and Landlord is both with CHU. Would (and do often) recommend.

Chu is the best insurer for strata. For the fifth year in a row they have kept the same price and even offered me a quote to reduce my premium and excess (they were honest about what insurance cover I would require and did not try to oversell me cover I didn’t need unlike many other companies do). Every other insurance company has increased their prices significantly and are actually less cover!I wish chu did other types of insurance for example car, health, travel, life as I would instantly move all my insurance across to them!!!!!
