Kate Donaldson Real Estate - Residential /Commercial

An extract from the business profile says; 'It is our aim to offer our customers service with empathy, honesty and integrity' These are not words I associate with this business. Kate accepted an offer on the purchase of land after speaking with the vendor. Contracts were dropped to our house at 1pm the next day for signing,. By 8am the following morning we were told that she had taken other people to the property that night and had received an offer $20k higher. Empathy, honesty and integrity - I think not. Buyer beware!

The below reviews must be from friends of the employees and owner. My experience with the company was brief and appalling.I called Kate Donaldson real estate at 4pm on a Friday afternoon due to one of her tenants big dogs breaking our fence and getting into our backyard.My children were terrified, especially since my son has been attacked by a dog before so has a phobia of dogs already.I patched the already damaged fence from the dog myself and went to see the tenants to let them know that their dog had escaped.When I called the office of Kate Donaldson it went to voicemail. I left a voicemail. No reply. I called again and Kate answered. She was more worried about the dog and the tenants. Her response was to give me an email of the property manager which didn't work and told me to get quotes for the repairs and that I had to pay half.Correct me if I'm wrong, but this would be considered an urgent repair for the real estate or the tenant? Not a send us an email or get a quote.

I had two rental properties managed through this company in 'trendy' areas in Melbourne. Both properties I needed to spend 30k + to repair after tenants 'managed' by this company had left. I would never recommend them

I don't usually write reviews, however in this instance I feel compelled to. Melissa Wilson is by far the best managing agent I have ever had! I have always felt that my property has been in great hands and when issues arise they are taken care of efficiently and cost effectively. Keep up the great work Mel & Kate, and thankyou!

We have rented with various agencies over many years and it has been a breath of fresh air to have Kate and her agents as our rental provider. Not only have Kate and Mel been so easy to deal with, they’re responsive to any maintenance and requests. We have young children with additional needs and an emotional support dog, they have been more than supportive and caring. Kate and her agents obviously care about their clients, not just the clients who are buying or selling which is unfortunately rare in real estate. Can’t recommend more highly.
