Used to be a great not for profit organization for their housing communities but in recent years they changed management and are now very heavy on for profit" their rents are higher than better nearby standard accommodation of a similar type. If the pension goes up $1 a week they increase the rent by $5 a week... Hopefully greed in this world changes :(The main people you have to deal with are wonderful people though. Hopefully things improve.God bless"

This has promise, but still suffers from the bureaucracy malady that afflicts society in general today. It promises to help the discarded people in society, but all workers must be perfect, and people with black marks in their past need not apply.

Children attended Banana Splitz through court order. The father attended all sessions with the kids, but the mother did not, and the mother was not interested OR engaged in the program for the children. The children expressed their strong views (in writing to Anglicare) around their mother not supporting them through divorce, in fact denigrating and coercing them into hating their father and this disgusting behaviour was supported by Anglicare. Rachael was asked to provide the evidence given by the children, showing the children wanted a relationship with both parents and were grief stricken that their mother was so spiteful and made it hard for them to show love for their dad. Rachael was fully aware of the abuse that was being inflicted on these children but refused to “get involved”. Her words. The ignorance of exposing the truth and supporting a mother who inflicts family violence Anglicare in themselves support family violence. The children were let down by Rachael and their voices were not heard at all. Anglicare support mothers who inflict domestic violence and Andreas who was consulted with on individual sessions advised the father that he should walk away and that no father would ever get support from the family court - and he would not help. “It’s just the way it is”. QUOTE.Child abuse takes courage and strength to stand up for children. The children!!!!!!! It’s all about protecting the children!!! Anglicare will not and did not protect these children.

Wonderful Souls. Anglicare has been working hard to help refugees and those less fortunate. I had the honor to work with them in many occasions and i have seen remarkable things. Thank you for your effort with the Syrian families and other refugees.
