Really enjoyed my stop here. Tried the Buffalo Pie which was excellent and followed up with a Vanilla Slice which was nice.

Wow! Don’t know whether to laugh or cry about this one. Worth stopping in to break up the drive and have a good story to tell your mates. And yes, those are French Fry chips sprinkled on the top of a luke warm pie.

Everything is home made and the eats I had were totally delicious. Cappuccino was perfect too, a delicious coffee bean and made perfectly, thanks Brent

We were prewarned by travellers not to go into this coffee shop" as she sold instant "coffee" for $7 ! We decided to give it a try but on entering Fran was busy arguing with her customers so we quickly retreated! Not a place to stop if you want friendly hospitality and fresh food! It says fresh food but it's actually fresh frozen food!"

Not open...waited outside for 30 mins for them to open. No sign of anyone. Please update your opening hours online!

Dropped in to see Brent again, his delightful dog, Echo" and a beautiful colourful macaw-like bird. There is a clean toilet. Scones were delicious and Brent gave hubby his last pie for free! It was yum. It's quirky

Why people have given this place rave reviews I do not know. No real menu, no price list you get whatever has been thawed for the day. Any drink $6 any bread roll with filling $10. Rip off. But it's home made she says! I call BS,! Gift of the gab, that's what she's got. Don't fall for it.

You have to just love the unique experience of visiting eccentric Frans and purchasing a mystery pie. Most people don't ask the price prior to purchase and this is how Fran puts on her mask and rips u off. But enjoy the experience u will b able to talk about it around the home and campfire for years. Food quality questionable. Definitely an outback character.

Please check the date of negative reviews! Much has changed.Brent is Fran's Grandson and came to work with Fran a few years ago when she was unwell. He has since taken over the business, just becoming the owner in April 2021. Listening to and responding to feedback, the prices are listed and the food is very low price considering it's all home made.Brent is doing a great job learning to be the best business man he can in a difficult place in rural Australia. We celebrate that and say well done.We had a serve of scones with jam and cream (one blueberry, one plain scone), a piece of vanilla slice and a very large cup of tea each. $19 total.Served rustically, it's not high street Sydney, but why would you be looking for that in Larrimah, outback NT with a stable population of maybe 20 people?Call in, buy a pie for just $5, a home made drink or some scones and vanilla slice. Pat the friendly Blue Macaw and enjoy the charms of outback living in 'Straya. We'll be back if we get the chance.NOTE: we added the jam and cream to the scones shown in the photo. The cream and jam was served in a small bowl with the scones, so you can add as much or as little as you like. :-)
