Rosny Library

Lovely clean library with great variety for children.

Rosny library is the closest and most convenient library from my house. It is ok but there are limited study tables available ( I believe there are only 4 tables?) It is sometimes noisy as the kids section is near by and people have normal conversations here and there. It would be great if they can open the conference/meeting rooms for people who need a quiet place to study during exams etc. They do this in Melbourne so why not here? I usually go here almost every other day to study and never see these rooms being used anyway.Also the parking is a 3 hour limit. It’s alright but I think it should be extended. There should be more parking availability for library customers. There is a lot, and I mean a lot of parking for employees for Clarence city council I think. I see quite a few spaces available for them which is not reasonable at all.

The library has a good selection of books. There are clean toilets. They sell coffee in the foyer. Only issue I have is the fact that the library doesn't open Sunday

Everyone should visit their local library. So much on offer and such a great place! Rosny was brillant place for a meeting and the staff were helpful and enthusiastic

Great branch of state library. Staff have been helpful when needed and can order a huge selection of books to pick up. Ebook selection is a little weaker.

Have made this a fortnightly thing to do with the children and they look forward to it everytime. Staff are always freindly and helpful. Displays are changed often to create a new feel each time we visit.A Library helping Library Tasmania stand the test of time in this digital era and I recommend a visit to this local library at Rosny to everyone.

Pleasant helpful staff. If you book, they can even get a staff member or a volunteer to help you with computer problems.

But ! Not really good for study,I mean if you looking for some place are pice and quiet ,because l was visited there last week to prepare my school exam, at that time has so many children’s ,and they cannot be quiet ....and has one woman doing like interviews just next to me....! ,Why don’t you go to coffee shop!!!

Popped in quickly to update my details. The lovely lady at the desk was more than happy to help and I ended up with a cute new library card and information about online audiobooks! No more monthly subscription for me!

I have been attending the English conversation group at Rosny Library for over a year now and it has been an incredible experience. The library has created a welcoming and supportive environment for people who want to improve their English language skills. Jennifer, the group facilitator, was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. She is an excellent teacher and always takes the time to explain things in a way that is easy to understand. I have learned so much from her and the other members of the group.The library itself is also a great resource for anyone who is interested in learning more about a wide range of subjects. There are books, magazines, and other materials available on everything from history and science to literature and art. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they are always happy to help you find what you are looking for.Overall, I would highly recommend Rosny Library to anyone who is interested in learning new things and improving their English skills. It is a welcoming and supportive environment that is sure to help you reach your goals. Thank you, Jennifer and the rest of the staff, for all that you do!
