Sugo Pizzeria

Garlic Bread was the bomb.. Crunchy crust around the edges soft, warm and garlicy in the middle!Tried the Sicilian Pizza (full of flavour and the cheese was Mmmmmm) + the Sugo Special (lots of colours and flavour) everything was delicious and the service was friendly and thoughtful.Going back for more.. plus they're our new local pizza guys (we're new to the neighbourhood :)

Very good pizza, crispy base, lots of topping. A size large which is is good for 1 man cost $22.

Went in store to order a pizza tonight. Shop has absolutely disgusting disregard for basic hygiene and food safety practices. Pizza maker not wearing food gloves or covid masks. Wiping sweat away with bare hands and using dirty hand making pizzas!! Several times over which the owner witnessed without care for customers even when mentioned. Be warned do not buy from here!

Let me start by saying that I really, really, really wanted to like this place. Owner is really personable and friendly, and before I tried it I read all these reviews saying their pizza is a m a z i n g.Maybe I am missing something. Maybe, because I am European born and bread, and I learned pizza secrets from more than few amazing Italian pizzaiolos, maybe my expectations when people state they are serving authentic pizza is too high?Positives: Really friendly owner, and friendly staff. Their logo and branding is likeable, and I love the name Sugo. Sugo immediatly brings memories of growing up on Mediterranean coast, and Nonna always preparing sugo al pomodoro fresh from the scratch to mix with pasta we had for lunch... So for me, name just brings range of emotions and connections.But unfortunately this is very it stops for me.I personally can't take seriously pizza shop stating they are serving authentic Italian pizza's when the first thing you see when you walk into the store is conveyor belt oven. We can debate toppings and does pineapple belongs on pizza or not, and I am the first one to say you eat what you like on your pizza. But there are few non negotiables if you are stating you are serving authentic" pizza or that you are "Traditional Italian Pizza Bar" and one of them is wood fired pizza oven.You can try pizza from Trieste to Genoa

Ordered for the first time last night and was the best pizza we've had for a long time and the prices weren't ridiculous. Lots of lovely fresh ingredients which makes for a full and satisfying meal. Will be ordering regularly I reckon.

Ordered The Greek (chicken) pizza tonight before they closed. It was probably one of the worst I have ever had. Despite its taste, there was lots of bones in it. I swallowed a small one by mistake and I can't describe how bad I feel right now (had to throw the rest of the pizza). I should have gone with a basic pizza like a margarita

Sugo pizza's are seriously the best pizza's I have ever had. I drive over 20kms for my fix & have never been disappointed yet, from pizza's to pastas it is all delicious. The staff are all so lovely & it is a great spot for dining outside in summer. Do yourself a favor & give them a try if you haven't already.

I have been a customer of this Pizza Bar for a couple of years now. My brother who is currently living with me unfortunately likes to try other pizza bars with which I have not enjoyed. -Tonight he is out so I got to order from my Favourite Pizza Bar. And as usual it was amazing and also I have.a 7 year old and so she likes nuggets and chips, you would think they may arrive not that good but somehow Sugo pulls it off and the chips are fab!!! Great Garlic Bread To and lovely people just tops it off
