Soko & Co Carousel

Browsed the store in carousel and looked at lots of containers. When I went to the counter the lady (I wish I had grabbed her name) with pink/ red hair that was training a new staff member condescendingly told me not to touch the containers. I apologised and explained I was trying to size them up to the space they need to fit into. She then rudely stated “the measurements are on the website”. I’ve worked retail before and would NEVER say that to someone and demand they check our website for measurements while they are literally in the store.Reading these other reviews seems to confirm I’m not the first to experience this. Truly poor customer service.

Person who was working on the morning of 20/3/2021 was rude.Wanted to purchase a reusable food bag. Then browsed the bins only to be told in a condescending manner that they do sell the display stock even though I was gently opening the lids.Walked out straight away.Classic customer service.

Great range of products but unfortunately customer service at the store was atrocious! Spoke to the owner himself but treatment was condescending to say the least...

Was browsing in the Cannington store and I touched a bin to see how it opened, it barely taped the shelf and some woman popped out from the back room and passive aggressively advised me that “we sell our display stock so please take it off the shelf if you want to see how it works”. Rude staff and no wonder retail is dying.

Very friendly and helpful! Loved their products and will return to purchase items.

Had to wait for this store to open an hour later than anyone else in the centre on Sunday (not displayed in the shop window or receipt ?), after making a purpose visit to return an item which didn't do what it advertised it would. (A silicone dish drying mat, which doesn't have any slope on the main section which should allow water from dripping dishes to run directly into the sink.) The staff member was very approachable and after explaining the fault, supported by photographs, she could see that there was a justifiable problem and phoned the owner. The owner wanted me to wait until she spoke to the supplier on Monday for them to look at evidence of the claim, and then re-visit the store (very difficult for me to do). I had surmised from the phone conversation she had with her staff member that the owner knew the product, so I foolishly thought she would be able to acknowledge the issue. Silly me; lesson learned.

Bought a cabinet which they agreed to assemble and store until I picked it up at their store. When I picked it up, there were a few obvious smalls chips on the surface and damage to the bottom of the cabinet. Damage was purely aesthetical and not functional. The two ladies manning the shop was polite and very accommodating however when the supervisor / owner arrived to discuss the matter, no apologies was provided. Instead a barrage of excuses was given wih a final conclusion that it was our fault for not picking it up earlier and that these damages were normal" (absurd as the chips extended past wood laminate and bare wood board could be seen). Didn't bother wasting time interacting with him and decided never to step foot in this shop again."

Was browsing around the store with my two kids. They were looking at an item and the girl working there piped up and reprimanded my well behaved kids saying “you break anything, your parents will pay for it”My husband said “excuse me, they aren’t misbehaving. Don’t threaten them” only to be told that it’s company policy and she started arguing with my husband. We were about to buy a few things but decided to not support such a store. She threw around the “Talk to my manager” thing. Well here it is - to her manager, sack this rude girl and get someone better. Will not return.

Lovely selection of goods but zero customer service and even poorer service recovery. joke.My advice: You'll be better off spending your money else where than here.

Purchased a dozen different plastic containers and homewares items online, shipped to Sydney. So far so good. Upon arrival, two were cracked; it happens, fine. Contacted the shop for a replacement.They said they could either contact Aus Post for a claim, or I could do it (which could be faster they suggested). However I'm not Aus Post's customer, so I said they (Soko) should handle it.Lost a bunch of emails and such since due to IT failure, but basically haven't heard from Soko since. Poor effort.
