Overwhelmingly nice lunch at the Chinese restaurant, as we did not expect such high quality Chinese restaurant in Hunter Valley. Friendly owners served 7 dishes in 15 minutes (surprisingly fast), and told us a lot about their history. Will come back again in our next visit to Hunter Valley!

Got dinner for Valentine’s Day, got the chicken cashew nuts and it was very bland no flavour to it, I have had it other places and it’s usually a little bit of a spice and that but sadly this one was just a clear sauce and a few cashews ontop. The chilli garlic chicken is great tho very flavourful.

We love to try out the Chinese place when passing through a regional town, and picked out Kee Ho from the (surprisingly) multiple options in Cessnock. The prawn toast was pretty good, but the mains were mediocre. The sweet and sour pork came in popcorn chicken-sized bites - too small and batter-heavy. The lemon chicken was unconventionally crumbed like a schnitzel instead of battered - I wouldn't have minded if not for the fact that the lemon sauce was also quite weak and watered down.
