Lovely place to sit n eat but Unfortunately the food and menu left a lot to be desired. Food very average. Staff Lovely and friendly but not in a hurry to eat there again

Nothing special but good little pub when staying in the caravan patk on a wet werkend. Bar staff were not friendly at all. Ordered a drink and one staff member couldnt open the safety vqcuum seal at the top of the bottle, so another staff member tried by using his teeth ( great hygene there ! ) Food was about normal price for the serving size. Wasnt super hot when delivered to the table but acceptable. Very old school decor in bistro. Great views across the beach.

Great venue for the view, friendly staff and the food is good. Expect high prices because it's at Wye River with no competition.

Stopped for a drink and to ask about the bioluminescence reports at Wye River.The view was simply sensational and the venue was pretty quiet. A super underrated destination along the GOR.One thing to note is that this hotel" actually no longer provides accommodation

Friendly staff and amazing location but I wouldn’t head there for food.Fish and chips were so oily we started to wipe it away with napkins and then gave them back. It’s that weird flat and thick batter … feels like it has been frozen.Chicken Parma looked like it had been deep fried and was really dry.Both were supposed to be served with salad but it was just lettuce.

Awesome staff, great food and a fabulous view!Overlooking the Great Ocean Road is this absolute gem of a pub. We ordered the fish and chips and the servings were huge! Adding to that, they were super tasty too!It was just so nice to chat to such welcoming staff, enjoy a cold beverage and sit in such a relaxing environment whilst taking in that view!!Would totally recommend this place! I know that we’ll be back for sure!

The views are its biggest asset and staff very pleasant. As others have noted, they have a monopoly on dining and that’s reflected in the exorbitant prices for average quality food. For example, $35 for a Caesar salad.

Do not go here to eat!!!Went to the Wye Hotel for my partner’s birthday dinner. Steak was $40 ($44 with pub holiday surcharge) and both looked and tasted like a thin coles sandwich steak. Also very undercooked (menu states steak is served medium rare). Mushroom sauce was very pale and barely any of it on the plate! Left feeling incredibly disappointed and quite frankly ripped off. You’re better off staying home than heading here for a meal.(Only giving 2 stars because of the nice view, but you could also appreciate this same view by standing in the car park!!)

Amazing pub with the best view on the coast!!! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great selection of local beers, particularly loved the Cockies Pale Ale! Will definitely be stopping in again xx
