Very nice beach, surprisingly soft sand.Waves can be a little rough as the tide goes out and can be a bit of a walk to the water front. Still an overall great experience.Do keep in mind there is about a 200 metre walk down to the beach from a gravel roundabout parking lot.

Wonderful beach, pristine and not overcrowded, currently under council dumb dog rules, so couldn't legally take our best friend for a walk and a dip in the ocean. A shame really as dog is always under control and there was no one within klms of us.....

Venus Bay is a beautiful long, wide beach. Beach No 2 car park gives access to the entire Venus Bay beach. It's a short walk from the car park down to the beach. The beach was relatively empty on a quiet cool Sunday afternoon and we enjoyed a long walk along the beach which was quite wide at low tide. You can access the beach from other car parks, some of which require a shorter and less steep walk to the beach.

Beautiful ocean beach. Sweeping views of long stretch of golden sand from the steps. Steep steps and path down to beach. Not disability friendly.

Park at the top of the sand dunes and make the six minute walk along a fenced track to the miles of surf beach at Venus Bay. There are well-made steps for most of the walk and a rest spot with great views of Bass Strait about halfway down. You will have to negotiate thirty metres of steep, loose sand as you enter the beach.

Quiet on cooler days. Seas are rough so more suitable for surfing. You can walk for miles but keep warm as winds can be gusty. There are no loos on beach no. 2 and access is via a 5-7 minute walk from car park. There are steps and not so friendly if you have physical impediments (beach no. 1 is more accessible from car park).

We love Venus Bay for its beaches and this beach compared to beach no. 3 has plenty of car park space. Although there is a a bit of a walk to the beach itself from the parking area and steps which makes it difficult to drag a cart around.
