I quite like this place, cozy and friendly. It's recommended by the pub staff and surprisingly good. The big breakfast is great, not the ordinary big brekkie, but with full of flavours. Potion is huge, fair for 20 bucks. Highly recommend.

What a beautifully decorated cozy little place. This surely accommodates a good size of customers. The variety on the menu is amazing. The service is over and above the expectations. We loved the food and the atmosphere around this place. Would definitely visit again.

I had a chai tea. Was totally impressed with the size of the pot... had around 2.5 cups of chai while we chatted and ate. Food was delicious and well presented. Staff friendly and helpful. Service prompt. Relaxed environment, with different areas to accommodate different needs... including an upstairs space. Good size tables to sit at... we had 5 adults. Eclectic decor. Can imagine this would be a favourite place if I was a local. Great experience. Would give higher score, if possible.

Expecting a big lunch, we decided to just have a small breakfast here. An egg and bacon roll was great and the coffee (decaf (she) and the regular (he)) was excellent! What a warm and quirky place. To sum up, went to the Novatel yesterday, Cold and indifferent coffee, today Warm and welcoming. Great staff.

Cute and unique little cafe, it has lots of options for everyone, including vegan and vegetarian items on the menu. Vegan options to choose from in the sweets cabinet too. We got the vegan burger which was really enjoyable.Lots of seating to choose from inside and has more seating up stairs and outside.Friendly service.

Cute little cafe, could have almost missed it though. Reasonably priced, had the Eggs Benedict and a large cappuccino. No complaints whatsoever, was reasonably busy, but I didn't have to wait for too long. Friendly staff and beautifully rustic atmosphere inside.

Spent the day in the Barossa Valley recently and we came across this cafe in Tanunda. My daughter had been there before, so recommended it. It had such an interesting, eclectic atmosphere inside, I was intrigued… I really wanted a coffee and then we decided on something to eat too. I chose a massive, home made looking sausage roll with an undoubtedly home made tomato sauce which was just delicious. Can’t remember what the others had but we all enjoyed our lunch. We loved the atmosphere, the service was good and approachable and there were quite a few yummy things to choose from there. This was a cafe that made you want to constantly look around, the decor was so quirky and eclectic. You felt like one of ‘The Borrowers’, rather than their human beans, as you surveyed every odd, little nook and cranny, whilst sitting there. This cafe is a very lovely, ‘homey’ experience and the food and coffee are worthy of mention too… definitely worth a visit to experience this charming, other-worldly cafe space. There’s nothing like this unique space really, back in Adelaide. Do something different next weekend and visit Tanunda… it’s worth the trip for a taste of another pace and this delightful cafe, something different than in the city.

Came here for breakfast. A very busy and popular place with many visitors and locals. Used the entertainment book which saved 25 per cent of the bill.Service was fast and the food was scrumptious
