Artarmon Fruity Latín Market

Current owners have greatly improved this Artarmon institution. Produce quality is consistently better than supermarkets, with equivalent prices (giving some leeway for lower buying power and higher quality).I think the current owners have Mexican (?) heritage, - a lot of the dry goods are those used in Mexican type food (corn flour, tortillas, beans, etc.), some of which is unusual (e.g. palm hearts). They also have some fancy deli things - cold cuts, marinated meats, etc.Older reviews are fair. Before the current guys there was relatively briefly Taiwanese (?) heritage owners that didn't pick the best produce. Before that an Italian (?) heritage family had the place for ages and did good job, but I'd say the latest owner is the best so far.

I think this store has come under new management recently. The past few times I've been in, the staff have been really lovely - always smiling. I think their customer service is excellent.They have a good range of fruit and vegetables; prices are reasonable. Very happy to be able to shop locally for my fruit and vegetables again!

Nearly every time I go in there there’s a queue at the checkout because there’s only one person checking out. Other staff don’t seem that keen on opening up the other checkout to help those waiting.A small business like that needs to seem a bit more keen on not allowing customers to have to wait unnecessarily and needs to have a better PR with customers.

Awesome! Fresh fruit and vegetables like this store has never seen offered by the previous two lots of owners. And the prices are reasonable considering the freshness and variety on offer, and the fact it's a 'convenience' store so could be charging a lot more given many of it's customers are cash rich and time poor, or old and trapped in Artarmon.The couple who run the shop are charming and welcoming, as are their assistants, and always thank you for shopping with them. They also have a wide range of deli items and various fresh vacuum packed meats from the superb (if somewhat pricey) Koch's butchers, and South American groceries (they're from South America) as well as a good selection of Asian groceries.I've lived in Artarmon for 36 years and this is by far the best thing that's happened to it in that time. May they prosper!

Great place to get good quality fresh fruit and vegetables at a great price. Great selection of Latin food ,the owners and staff are always very friendly.

Great range of South American and Mexican products. They lose a star because they never answer the phone. When trying to track down specific ingredients, it helps not having to drive all over Sydney.

I love this shop so much! They have very fresh produce and delicious natural orange juice. They also stock a massive variety of South American foods and ingredients, and tasty freshly made juices and smoothies. Totally recommended

Awesome shop, have everything and quality is much better than Supermarket veggies. The corn chips in the clear bags are great value and taste so much better than CCs or Doritoes. Many Sth American products. Staff are friendly.. I usually buy my fresh items here.
