Pilliga Nature Reserve
Lovely short trail! Estimated time is about an hour, but can easily be completed in 40 mins. Very accessible, and comfortable to do, even with inexperienced hikers. Beautiful views and fantastic preservation of historical aboriginal sites. Make sure to bring plenty of water, closed toed shoes, a hat and some sun screen!

Pilliga Nature Reserve
Nice place to visit between Narabri and Coonabarabran. Well worth a stop to have a look at the sandstone caves. The loop track is a pretty easy walk.

Rock formation there is amazing. The parking lost is 100m from a sealed road and the walk is only 1. 7km in total.

The sandstone Caves are an amazing sight to see, the views are not what you would expect (better), just stop and remember it is a a sacred site and climbing all over it and threw it is disrespectful and can ruin it for the next generation.

Wonderful aboriginal sight with awesome sand stone caves, well worth seeing, with amazing views when you get there, short1.7 km walk, well worth it.

Absolutely beautiful. Been through the area many times but didn't know these caves were here. Easy to miss the turn off if you're not paying attention. Short dirt track to the walking track. Amazing views from the caves.

Nice little walk to see the caves. Not much of a detour from the highway so well worth the stop to stretch your legs.
