Murrook Culture Centre

We did a cultural immersion session with Justin, Pete and the team at Murrook today. This was an incredibly eye-opening and welcoming experience that entrusts you with cultural understanding and enlightens you to the history of our collective past. I walked from the day feeling empowered to speak about the relationship with Our country and history and proud of our First Nations peoples culture and how I personally can learn from the fundamental pillars of country, people, language and stories.Sensationally powerful experience.

Great venue

The cultural knowledge the facilitators and staff exhibit is so rich with culture, tradition, lore and ceremony. I highly recommend visiting the team if you are interested in a worthwhile cultural experience.

Great place, lovely pond with swans & ducks , was there for naidok week, lots of stalls, face painting, sausage sizzle, music & much more had a great day

If your going up to this beautiful part of NSW, you have to do their quad bike dune tour. It’s ridiculously fun. They have a fast group and a slow group when I went, I strongly encourage you to go with the fast group so you can do the big dune drop - SO MUCH FUN!

Absolute beautiful place ,we attended a function there just last week the entire vibe was just amazing and we were grateful and appreciative ,when we were able to view the art gallery ❤️ ,gaining more knowledge in such a short time was just amazing. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming with plenty of information.

not finnished yet but great people showed us around met Billie nee Lorraine and her hubby and son and daughter in law - such a simple down to earth experience. Even told didgeridoo not part of Worrimi culture - great to hear truth not just popular misconception. Will be back!

Excellent venue for a corporate function. There was nothing left to wish for at our event last Saturday. Everything was very well organised and our expectations were exceeded. The communication with the event staff prior to the function was very good and professional. The room was perfectly set up with all the required material which was a big help. The IT set up was very professional and easy to use. And the catering arrived perfectly on time as planned in the agenda and many compliments on the quality were received. The outdoor area was great for some teambuilding exercise and during the lunch break. I can highly recommend this Cultural Centre to anyone planning a corporate function or workshop in the Port Stephens area. Thank you very much Murrook Team, well done!

Went as part of a work program. Incredibly knowledgeable, open and honest about their cultural experience. Facilities are very new, modern and comfortable. Not sure what the 1-star reviewer is talking about - maybe they were there before renovation?
