Completed my IPC recently with Trent at Darwin Flight Training. Would definitely recommend DFT to anyone who wants to do any pilot training or meet any recency requirements. I learned a lot on my flight with Trent, very experienced examiner and great bloke to do your IPC with. Highly recommended.

100% trustworthy. This is one of the BEST flight schools in Australia. It’s chief pilot Trent Robinson is so experienced, it’s absolutely an pleasure to fly with him! My instructors Luke Tonkin, Tayla Rump are also professional and are great instructors! I got my PPL there, and enjoyed every flight with them. Also - if you like aviation, make sure subscribe Trent’s Podcast. Also when you meet Trent, you will know how great he is - full of humor, solid skills and student-focused. You will not regret at all to go with Trent and his team! Oh finally, don’t worry about MKT is a private airstrip, it’s so close to YPDN, you will get good CTA practice! Also love the aviation-passionate community at MKT!

The whole experience was very easy from start to finish, including the booking experience being so accommodating with issuing gift vouchers for a birthday present, to the experience on the day being seamless and exhilarating all at the same time. The guys at Darwin Flight Training provided a friendly and relaxed environment for me to get my CPL and first job. It was certainly worth the 30 minute drive out to MKT as the prices were reasonable and I didn’t have to spend long times on the ground, where Darwin Airport you could spend 15mins taxiing. Being close to the CTA boundary provided excellent opportunity for CTAF and Controlled Airspace training.

Bought my father a Trial Intro Flight for Fathers day and he absolutely loved it! Would 100% recommend this company!

Very flexible times. Convenient as it's located only 5 minutes from where I live, great fleet, professional and the taxiing to the runway takes less than 30 seconds where as DRW would take much longer.
