Mountain Whispers Leura Rose

From the moment we stepped into the property, we were in awe of what was presented to us. All 3 bedrooms were beautifully styled with comfortable 4 poster beds, topped with the perfect pillows that were not too soft or too firm. The main bathroom was a treat, luxurious and super sized, it was the biggest we've ever seen! We loved the soft plush towels and the heavenly scented bodywash. The water pressure was perfect, and the middle of winter it didn't take long for the hot water to kick in so you are not standing there for ages wasting water fiddling around with the taps to get the temperature and pressure right. Although we didn't use it, the bathtub looked ever so inviting and the tealight candles surrounding it were a lovely touch. The kitchen is bright, airy and squeaky clean, with a picturesque view overlooking the balcony and garden. We enjoyed the complimentary eggs, bread, juice, milk and coffee that was generously supplied. We didn't do any cooking apart from breakfast, but the kitchen is fully equipped to cook any meals. Our favourite room was the the lounge area, it was perfectly cosy with a beautiful fireplace that heated the room up nicely and generated a magical warm ambience. The sofas were extremely comfortable and we happily spent hours just sitting there reading by the fireplace. There were plenty of CDs, dvd's, books and magazines to keep you entertained. We loved all the lamps and lighting throughout the home, especially the little mosaic lamp and the other decorative pieces such as the antique telephone! Leura Rose exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are grateful to Lorraine for making this memorable experience possible. If we ever return to the Blue Mountains, there is only one place to stay!

What a beautiful home away from home! We are very lucky and spoilt by such a wonderful and thoughtful host as Lorraine to be the regular ‘stayers’ at Chatelaine. Every single time we come, Lorraine goes way beyond what can be expected from a five star property. Each and every time the home is crystal clean, all tiny details are attended too, the pure luxury is maintained in pristine condition, the breakfast supplies are just keep getting bigger and more gourmet so we don’t get bored and personal details all around the house can’t possibly be ‘more personal’ or done in a ‘more perfect’ way. Lorraine, you are a true star! Chatelaine is property of ABOVE FIVE STAR standard ... even for the pickiest of travellers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the privilege to stay in your luxurious properties. Now we only travel with Mountain Whispers.

We loved our stay at the beautiful Leura Rose cottage. The house itself is gorgeous, cosy, warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked and very generous with special birthday treats for us to enjoy. The spa bathroom looking out into the garden was delightful. Lorraine is a wonderful host who kindly ensured our stay was perfect. Our new home away from home!!

We stayed at the beautiful Leura Roae Cottage and it was absolutely gorgeous! On arrival, we walked into a warm cozy cottage with a welcome port, and a fridge stocked ready for breakfast the next morning. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the bathroom has a fireplace with spa, it is just perfect! Lorraine is so hospitable, and made our stay a weekend to remember. You can't go wrong with this beautiful getaway! We can't wait till next year!

What a wonderful cottage Leura Rose is! From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. Lovely and warm, meticulously clean, totally gorgeous bedrooms with the most incredibly soft linens. Bathrobes make you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. Short distance to walk to the main shops and cafes in Leura. Totally recommend staying here for a magical experience you will be talking about for a long time. Thank you for everything Lorraine.

For the last several years, during the winter months my family and I stay at Leura Rose Cottage for a winter wonderland weekend which is situated in our beautiful Blue Mountains. We love this boutique cottage so much we're sad to leave and look forward to our next return. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The cozy lounge room is so inviting with it's warm fireplace. Two full size bathrooms, both with spas and one of them with a fireplace. Sheer Luxury". The kitchen is large and fully equipped with a large dining table in the middle. The whole house is beautifully decorated

It was the second time we go there, the Leura definitely gave us a great full of joy and surprise. My mum was super happy and we love the spa! Location was great you could walk to town center! Want to come back and stay again!!!
