This pub is one of the best country pubs around and is definitely well worth visiting for lunch and a few drinks. The meals were massive, very well presented and delicious. As it is a very popular venue on weekends, understandably there’s a bit of a wait for service. The rustic character of the building creates a wonderful atmosphere.

Only 30mins from Toowoomba and definitely worth the the drive. Meals where huge and beautiful. Service and hospitality excellent. Will be going back soon. Lovely relaxing country pub, 10 stars.

On top of all the history that adorns the walls and ceilings, the meals were huge and top quality..and the staff friendly and efficient. Need to go back a few times to soak it all in.

Thanks for the excellent brunch today of yesterdays half of meal taken home in a storage box supplied when I saw the size of my meal. The experience yesterday was wonderful and today it took so little time to encase the other half with the veg, in the pastry after slicing the chicken and wow, so good.

Great pub to have a meal or rest and soak in the atmosphere. Nice meal. Plenty of tables at the back and sometimes they have a live band but you need to check when though. Food coming out a bit slow especially with group.
