Silversands Beach Cottage

Fantastic! I stayed for a delightful weekend in the 1 bedroom apartment. Spacious, modern and very well equipped, it has everything you could need for a short or longer stay. It’s also close to shops, cafes and great walks along the beach. (The studio looks equally as lovely). Carolyn the owner is terrific; I arrived to a welcome basket which was a lovely surprise, and her communication is great. I would highly recommend Silversands. Thanks Carolyn

Had the most amazing time at Silversands!! Spacious, clean and the hosts really make you feel welcome. We received a welcome box with goodies and the apartment is so accomodating with condiments in the fridge and little touches like bubble bath for our spa. Hosts were always quick to reply to any emails and we can’t wait to return. 10/10!!

Excellent location, well equipped units, this is our third stay and will be back again, highly recomended.

It's a nice place to stay near the beach. But it's not on the the beach road. It's a few houses back. So don't book it expecting fantastic beach views. Parking onsite was a little bit tight for our Ford Ranger and you are not allowed to park in the street. Accommodation was clean and the beds are comfortable. Netflix and WiFi are free.

Avoid at all costs!Owner arrogant and dismissive. Kitchenette has no sink, you have wash dishes in the bathroom. All crockery and 'glassware are plastic. The bbq is filthy, the laundry is shared, the TV is small and there is no coffee table so you need to put your drink on the floor. They charge an additional 2.25% on top of their advertised price including the $100 bond that they charge. The walls and floor above sound paper thin, we could hear every move of the other guests. We paid for 5 nights and only spent 2 sleepless nights there, cleaned the unit and left. The owner did not care, provided not refund and even kept our $100 bond. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Carolyn and Phil are lovely hosts who are very accommodating! The studio apartment is very clean, spacious and has a beautiful aesthetic! It’s also located so close to the beach which is lovely for walks! Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!

Fantastic location: beach across the road. Quiet, modern place. Cable TV, Big Spa bath, large stainless steel fridge/freezer, DISCHWASHER, large kitchen, pantry, videos and board games in the house, large gas BBQ on the covered porch. Own courtyard with outdoor seating. Beautiful accommodation, quality linen and fittings. Mornington shopping complex only 6 minutes drive. Beautiful playgrounds just minutes from this accomodation. Very clean, very relaxing place. Easy to communicate with Carolyn (owner). Highly recommended, do not miss this accomodation, you will not regret. We will be back frequently!
