The staff at the store were amazing! such a pity that Corporate are money grubbing a-holes.Bought a jacket and a couple weeks later was discounted by $200, could understand 50-100 and wear that.Other compnies offer the difference if within a month, not a cent offered when spoke to them, not even a discount voucher.nature of retail" was the excuse

I bought a pair of Binoculars yesterday which have not performed as well as I'd hoped. Although the young lady was very helpful there was nothing to try so that I could be better informed before my purchase although I did ask. As they did not suit when I tried them out I returned them this morning to find that Kathmandu would not refund for my purchase and I found the lady professionally polite although confrontational. My personal regret is that I ended up parting with a further $35.00 for a lightweight compact rain jacket that I could have picked up for my $35.00 elsewhere and still had the binos to give to someone else. Oh, the cost of avoiding confrontation. I personally shall never darken their doorway again.

Absolutely brilliant customer service! I needed to get a heap of different items for an upcoming trip to Kilimanjaro and I came out under budget and with more than I had originally considered to purchase.Great prices, great products & great staff!

This place has a brilliant range of clothing, camping, travelling, hiking and beach equipment. The clothes are exceptionally well made, and it is first on my list for outdoor, climbing, camping and travel gear. The accessories are top notch as is the selection of sleeping backs and backpack/rucksack. You'd have to get in your own way not to find what you're looking for. Brilliant.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I have been to Kathmandu several times last month as i was shopping for my Everest Base Camp Trek. All the staff were very friendly & always happy to help me to choose the right stuffs that i require for My trek. As this was my very first time I didn’t had much idea what material would be best for the altitude and temperature i was going to. I really appreciate all your help. I did my entire shopping for my trek in Kathmandu in good deals and all the items that bought for Everest Base Camp Trek were worth buying. Thankyou Kathmandu and Toowoomba team for assisting me to achieve my dream.

The middle aged woman with platinum blonde hair that works there is incredibly rude! I went into the store today to have a look at a jacket I found online. I loved it. Unfortunately I had unknowingly opened a scam site and when questioned if the jacket was the same price she laughed at me and said that is a scam before walking off and loudly making fun of me with the other assistant about how I saw this expensive jacket on a scam site for a ridiculously cheap price. I feel it was an honest mistake and her response was very uncalled for. We also would have still purchased the jacket from her had she not treated me with such arrogance.To the rude lady, if you see this.... We actually still bought that jacket. We just bought it from the real Kathmandu site so you wouldn't get your sale. My partner also bought a jacket from the Kathmandu site.... You missed out on a grands worth of sales because of your ignorance.

After picking up some new boots in my size from a brand I love, they sat in the box for a couple of weeks before I broke them in by wearing them around the house for a day.Big mistake to assume the manufacturer hadn't changed their models, or my feet hadn't grown!Thank you to Georgia and her understanding, as she allowed me to swap them for next size up despite them being worn for a day, two weeks afterpurchase.

I'm rating my review wholly about my experience last week in the Grand Central Toowoomba store . My husband & I went in to look for jackets & hiking boots for an overseas trip . We would like to say how impressed we were with Cheryl " ; she had fantastic product knowledge

I purchased a jacket for my husband and that is lage size but when he try at home it's seems lose and then I go to return after two days that I need medium size in this but that lady how work there she told me it's no seriously I feel so bad that I spent money on it which is not worth it and that lady how work there in grand central she was so rude. I really feel so bad.not good experience in grand central.
