We offered on a property that Phil was selling. It was an auction campaign. We were hoping to go to auction for transparency and to pay market value. We were happy to bid unconditionally. Phil placed the registered bidders in multiple offer (6 of us, allegedly), and the property sold for $64,888 less than our offer.We placed a finance condition of 10 days on our offer given the loss in transparency, and concerns that we were over-paying and a bank valuation wouldn’t stack.Phil NEVER called us about our offer. We would have taken the condition away had he given us some reassurance we weren’t overpaying. When we called/Emailed he never responded. His staff also. We suspect our offer wasn’t submitted. If it was, and it was the fact that we put a finance condition that did us out of the deal - so be it. But he never called and subsequently left $64,888 on the table for his seller.

Honest and professionalFrom our first meeting with Sam we felt comfortable with her honesty and professionalism. Sam has a genuine enthusiasm for selling properties and we felt confident that she would convey what we loved about our home to potential buyers. Sam and Phil are clearly skilled professionals and our home was under contract about a week after being on the market.
