Black Bottle
Having been outside of Australia for a while I was shocked at how insanely expensive things have become. Black Bottle was the exception, and to be honest I think they should bump their prices up. Those scallops were worth more than we paid, likewise the zucchini flower. Excellent and friendly service from the team. I'll def visit again next time I'm in Sydney.

The good is just amazing!!!! Full of flavour and genuine French… loved it!!! Staff also very friendly and service is just impeccable… 1000% recommend!

It was such a great experience with the good food and the service. The food was fresh and delicious. It was my first time trying the French Cuisine and I really enjoyed the food especially I like their duck steak with some orange sauce? Which was very unique and fresh to me. The service there was also good. The restaurant is easy to find near the station and well decorated. The price is reasonable and has a variety of wine selections also I liked their lychee drink. Highlg recomend this place and I would definately bring my friends there next time.

Delightful service, from the owner himself.Cocktails - elegantly concocted and set the scene well for what was to come.Wagyu tartare - a spin on it, believe there were no capers or mustard like usual, but the smokey eggplant did indeed compliment it.Crispy mushrooms - these were no ordinary button mushrooms. They were king oysters, beautifully textured with a side of truffle mayo.Lobster slider - also delicious.Our hibachi-grilled wagyu skewer came with a generous serve of perfectly crisp fries and a beautifully dressed lettuce on the side. It was the best steak we had in a while.Already stuffed, we decided to finish on a profiterole each, which the chef took out himself and poured liquid chocolate on, all very satisfying.In summary, everything superseded expectations, considering the bar was already set high from a previous visit. We left very full, content and thinking about when we would next visit.

A quaint bistro, we had an early pre theatre dinner on a cold windy evening. The restaurant was welcoming & we were warmly greeted by Andreas (restaurant manager) who was friendly & introduced us to the offerings as there was a Bastille Day promotion going on. The food was top notch & out steak was perfectly cooked. Seating is on high tables inside & normal tables in a courtyard at the back. The restaurant quickly filled up with regulars & the friendly vibe added to the ambience. A great place for an suthentic French meal - we definitely will be back.

Wonderful meal and staff are so lovely - highly recommend.Mum and I couldn’t walk past the Wednesday special of $12 Negronis or Spritz. The $80pp special is great too.We enjoyed the Zucchini flower (a delicious sundried tomato), Beef Tartare, Duck breast and stunning swordfish. Lots of options.
