Great rest stop. A little further down the road is Coolah where you'll find the Black Stump Hotel. Lovely town with a great local art and crafts gallery called Pandoras.

Good clean facilities here with easy parking - not many along this stretch of road so the opportunity was welcome. It was interesting to read the history of The Black Stump too, which I always thought was just an imaginary place.

Toilets were very clean. The History of the Black Stump is displayed on a sign and replacement stump displayed as the original was lost in a fire. There is a BBQ and picnic tables with nice views. We visited there on our return trip on holidays and now we can tell our friends we wend Beyond the Black Stump"."
