To give you some context, I first met Dane after being told out of the blue at the last possible moment that my financial institution wouldn’t loan to me (even after 2 pre-conditional approvals and even a positive valuation for a 40sqm off the plan unit). Having cooled off 4 months earlier and settlement days a couple of weeks away, I went home at 9pm that night and reached out to as many lenders as possible to contact me including Aussie Home Loans. First thing the next day, at 9am on the dot, I received a phone call from Dane who asked me what the situation was and he started the ball rolling on trying to find me a lender for a 40sqm apartment with a 10% deposit. Every single step along the way including a few freak out sessions and a lot of curve balls on the way, Dane was there for me… sometimes multiple times a day, always responsive, be really cared and it showed. He helped me apply my all my first home owners grants, exemptions and schemes, and even though a couple of them were brand new experiences for me, it was never an issue. I am a strong believer that things happen for a reason and now, 2 weeks after settlement, I’m proud to say, I’ve moved into my first home and I couldn’t have done it without him.
