Binalup / Middleton Beach

Beautiful! There are safety nets and outdoor indoor showers. There has trail at the end of the beach to cycle or walk.

Albany’s favourite place for a swim is a five-kilometre curve of white sand, traced by the low dunes of the Middleton Reserve and some low-key holiday developments.Middleton Beach is on a very gradual slope and the waves break a long way out.Lounging on the sand you’ll take in magnificent views, back across King George Sound to Gull Rock and Torndirrup National Park, and the islands of Frenchman Bay.At the more sheltered southern end is Ellen Cove, equipped with a jetty and pontoon for swimmers.And fringing this portion of the beach is a tiered grassy area for picnics in the shade.This is also a useful spot from which to see humpback and southern right whales during their migration, sometimes coming to within 20 metres of the beach.

Such a nice and beautiful place to spend the day with fam and friends. In this time of the year the weather is cold, so bring your sweater and get ready for the wind.

Clean beach with a few shops and a shark net

Such a beautiful, calm beach that is ideal for families.Excellent amenities as well, and just out of town.The boardwalk up the hill is an excellent walk as well, providing excellent views overlooking the bay/sound.

It's a good relaxing place, close to walking trails, playground, restaurants and motels.

Beautiful beach. Visited in spring. A tad chilly for a swim but looks like it would be delightful.

Local favourite. Has a dog beach for your pooch.

Easily accessible. I find it too windy most of the time.
